Abstract
Description
To connect electrical power consumers of a motor vehicle, which may be a passenger car or a truck, to a battery in the same as a voltage source, so-called harnesses are used in a known technique. In such harnesses a more or less large number of electrical lines is combined into one unit. Depending on the size of the distances to be bridged between battery and / or control devices on the one hand and power consumers on the other hand, the lines may have different lengths. The more power consumers are connected, the more expensive the harnesses are with correspondingly complex installation. For the sake of simplicity, the abbreviation "PKW" will be used in the following instead of the word "motor vehicle".
In a car existing power consumers are, for example, the bulbs in headlights and taillights, motors for mirror adjustment, opening and closing windows and seat adjustment, seat heaters, a steering wheel heating, lighting the dashboard and the license plates, sensors and control units. As long as the power consumers are mounted on or in the body of a car, there are no special problems. This is different if the power consumers are located on or in a moving part of the car. "Moving parts" are all doors of the car, but especially a designed as a tailgate door. For the sake of simplicity, the word "door" will be used hereinafter instead of the words "movable part". Each door is pivotally connected about an axis of rotation with the body of the car. The leads leading to the power consumers mounted on or in the door are bent back and forth with each movement of the door. So they are constantly mechanically loaded and therefore can be easily damaged.

The invention has for its object to make the above-described arrangement so that the two units of the wiring harness can be easily connected to each other.
This object is achieved according to the characterizing features of
In this arrangement, the lines of the wiring harness of a car in the swivel range between the body and door are separated into two parts, which are each connected to the contact elements of the contact carrier located there and thereby connected to each other. The wiring harness or its lines are therefore no longer mechanically stressed by the pivoting movement of the door. Each contact element is designed as a spiral with at least one turn. The spiral ensures that the ends of a contact element can be reciprocated without permanent deformation of the same by angles up to about 150 °, when the door is fully opened and closed again. The contact carrier is thereby constructed so that he or his contact elements can join the pivotal movement of the door or can. It is designed for this special purpose, so that it can fulfill its function as a rotatable or swiveling connector permanently. In this case, the position of the connection points or ends of the contact elements, with which the lines of the two parts of the wiring harness are connected, unchanged in any position of the door, so that the lines are not mechanically stressed at these connection points by the pivoting movements of the door. By given in this arrangement division of the wiring harness, the respective door can be vorverkabelt, so that the door located in the door and connected to the corresponding power consumers connected after mounting the door to the body of the car only to the contact elements of the likewise preassembled contact carrier will need.
