Abstract

A plasma display apparatus is provided. The plasma display apparatus includes a panel display unit (D'1) in which a plurality of electrodes are formed, and a panel structure (D'2) for surrounding at least a portion of the panel display unit. The panel structure includes at least one electrode pad (11') extending from at least one of the electrodes (2') of the panel display unit, at least one connector (14') for applying driving signals to the at least one electrode pad (11'), and a coating layer (13) including a flame-retardant material and coating the at least one electrode pad (11') and the at least one connector (14').
