- the present invention relates to an anti-gallop device for a clock escapement, this escapement comprising, inter alia, a spiral composed of several turns and a rocker provided with at least one arm, the rocker being pivotally mounted between a plate and a bridge, said device comprising a finger fixed on the balance arm, at least one column next to which can pass the finger when the rocker is moving, this column being integral with the bridge of said balance, and a locking arm fixed on the outer coil of the spiral, this locking arm being capable of being interposed between said column and said finger to prevent rotation of the balance beyond an angle exceeding its normal operating angle.
- This device is implemented in so-called expansion escapements that are suitable for large timepieces such as marine chronometers. These parts are appreciated for their great precision, which is why it is very often used a relaxation exhaust itself renowned for its high accuracy. This exhaust, however, has an important defect, namely its sensitivity to shocks. Because of this, it is considered not to be well suited to wristwatches. Indeed a shock applied to the timepiece can cause the pendulum to rotate beyond a normal operating angle. It then occurs a gallop because two clearances and two pulses occur during the same alternation.
- the present invention besides it obeys the generic definition in the first paragraph of this description, is remarkable in that the locking arm is a clamp attached to the outer coil of the spiral.

Claims (4)
- Galoppverhinderungsvorrichtung, die für eine Uhrwerkhemmung bestimmt ist, wobei diese Hemmung unter Anderem eine Spiralfeder (1), die aus mehreren Windungen (9, 10) gebildet ist, und eine Unruh (2), die mit wenigstens einem Arm (3) versehen ist, umfasst, wobei die Unruh dazu ausgelegt ist, zwischen einer Platine und einer Brücke (4) schwenkbar montiert zu werden, wobei die Vorrichtung einen Zapfen (5), der dazu bestimmt ist, an dem Arm (3) der Unruh befestigt zu werden, wenigstens eine erste Säule, an der sich der Zapfen (5) vorbeibewegen kann, wenn die Unruh in Bewegung ist, wobei diese Säule dazu ausgelegt ist, mit der Brücke (4) der Unruh fest verbunden zu sein, und einen Blockierarm, der dazu bestimmt ist, an der äußeren Windung (10) der Spiralfeder (1) befestigt zu sein, umfasst, wobei sich dieser Blockierarm zwischen die Säule und den Zapfen (5) bewegen kann, um die Drehung der Unruh über einen ihren normalen Arbeitswinkel übersteigenden Winkel hinaus zu verhindern, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Blockierarm eine Zange (8) ist, die an der äußeren Windung (10) der Spiralfeder (1) eingehakt ist.
- Galoppverhinderungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie außerdem eine zweite Säule umfasst und dass sich der Zapfen (5) zwischen der ersten und der zweiten Säule bewegen kann, wenn die Unruh in Bewegung ist.
- Galoppverhinderungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Zange (8) die Form eines X aufweist, wovon die Enden der oberen Schenkel (11, 12) ausgebildet sind, um die Spiralfeder elastisch zu umgeben, und wovon die unteren Schenkel (13, 14) angeordnet sind, um als Greif- und Anordnungsmittel für die Zange (8) zu dienen.
- Galoppverhinderungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zwei Säulen (6, 7), die dazu bestimmt sind, mit der Brücke (4) der Unruh fest verbunden zu werden, ein Portal (15) mit einem sie verbindenden Querträger (16) bilden, wobei dieser Querträger einen Stift (17) trägt, der in die Brücke (4) der Unruh getrieben ist.
