Abstract

The bottle has upper and lower peripheral flanges constituting a capsule hooking ring (4) and a champagne hoop hooking ring (5), respectively. The ring (5) comprises of a group of ramps (6) uniformly distributed on its circumference and forming helical threads in order to obtain the ring with dual function. The ring with dual function allows corking the bottle by a recessed cork or by a cork screw cap cooperating with ramps.

Description

The present invention relates to any type of bottle containing a carbonated beverage, especially Champagne wine, the closure of which is generally constituted by a cork stopper traditionally maintained by a wire cap with or without a plate.

This type of clogging has a number of disadvantages that can adversely affect the trade of this type of product in the short or medium term.

Indeed, there is a risk for the food safety of consumers, due to molecules that can migrate cork or products used for the manufacture of cork, such as glues and surface treatments.

Another well known disadvantage, related to the use of cork stoppers, relates to sensory deviations commonly known as "cork taste". This last point is currently the most important risk factor for sparkling wines.

Indeed, recent tastings on a sample of 2500 bottles of Champagne show that the average rate of this type of deviation is of the order of 5%, up to 10% for some lots.

In addition, cork stoppers have the disadvantage of being ejected inadvertently due to the pressure in the bottle.

Also, cork is a natural material subject to climatic and environmental hazards, which does not allow a constant supply.

For all these reasons, the manufacturers have turned to screw caps, which, in most cases, give complete satisfaction, avoiding the risk of "cork taste" and allowing the easy refilling of the bottle.

This solution also has the advantage of being economical, but of course it requires the manufacture of specific bottles provided with a thread at the end of the neck.

However, despite the many advantages of the screw cap, the cork is still adept for prestigious bottles or higher quality, especially for Champagne wines, as mentioned above.

All these considerations on either of these solutions suggest that it is necessary for a bottle manufacturer to offer two types of bottles, one for traditional corking with a corking plug. the other for screw-capping.

It is understandable that this diversity of products induces significant manufacturing and storage costs, and this consideration is the first phase of the inventive step.

The present invention therefore aims to propose a solution remedying all of the aforementioned drawbacks.

For this purpose, it relates to a bottle of the type intended to contain a carbonated beverage, in particular Champagne wine, traditionally constituted by a body extending at its upper part by a collar surmounted by a first upper peripheral bead constituting a hooking ring. an external provisional capsule (not shown) for capping during the fermentation of the wine, and a second lower peripheral bead constituting a counter-ring for attaching a cap of a definitive plug with a depression replacing the temporary cap, after a disgorging operation of the wine, characterized in that the lower counter-ring comprises a plurality of ramps evenly distributed around its periphery and forming as many portions of at least one helical thread, so as to obtain a double counter-ring function, allowing the clogging of the bottle indistinctly via a penetration cap retained in p lace by the muzzle or by a screw cap cooperating with the helical ramps.

Whatever the embodiments shown in the figures, the bottles 1 or 1A are of the type intended to contain a soft drink, especially Champagne wine.

The raised ramps 6 are inscribed in the envelope of the lower counter-ring 5.

According to the second embodiment shown in Figures 6 to 10, the difference lies exclusively in the fact that the helical ramps 6A are formed in recess on the lower counter-ring 5A.

Of course, the lateral internal part of the cap comprises corresponding parts adapted to cooperate with the ramps 6 in relief or with the ramps 6A recessed.

In general, the helical ramps 6, 6A are obtained on the lower counter rings 5, 5A during the same molding operation of said bottle 1, 1A.
