Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Baumrost zum Abdecken des Wurzelbereichs von Bäumen, bestehend aus mindestens einem flächigen, gusseisernen, mit mehreren Durchbrechungen (2) versehenen Einzelelement (1, 1'), welches auf einer tragfähigen Unterkonstruktion (3) aufliegt und wahlweise mit weiteren Einzelelementen (1, 1') gekoppelt ist,
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine mit einer einfachen und wirtschaftlichen Lösung das Eindringen von Schmutz und Unrat in eine mit einem Baumrost abgedeckte Pflanzgrube zu verhindern.
Gekennzeichnet ist der erfindungsgemäße Baumrost dadurch, dass jedes Einzelelement (1, 1') oder der gesamte Baumrost mit einer flächigen, horizontal angeordneten Schmutzfangeinrichtung (5) kombiniert ist, wobei mehrere Durchbrechungen (6) der Schmutzfangeinrichtung mit einem kleineren Querschnitt jeweils einer Durchbrechung (2) in jedem Einzelelement (1, 1') zugeordnet sind. Die flächige Schmutzfangeinrichtung (5) kann ein Gitter, ein Gewebe, ein Lochblech oder eine Lochplatte sein.
