Description
Vorrichtung zur dosierten Abgabe einer FlüssigkeitDevice for the metered delivery of a liquid
Technisches GebietTechnical field
The invention relates to a device for the metered delivery of a liquid, in particular an infusion liquid, with a housing which has a liquid chamber and a pressure medium chamber, via which a flexible wall of the liquid chamber can be acted upon from the outside with pressure medium.
Stand der TechnikState of the art
In such a known device (WO 95/23 641 A1), the liquid chamber, the pressure medium chamber and a pressure gas generator are accommodated in a common housing. The gas pressure generator consists of a reaction chamber which contains an organic acid, usually citric acid in the required concentration and a carbonate preparation, usually sodium carbonate with binders, separated from the container by a membrane, which is pressed into a tablet. To activate the gas pressure generator, the membrane is separated between the acid and the carbonate, "after which the carbonate reacts with the acid and subsequently releases a reaction gas, usually carbon dioxide, which is conducted via a hydrophobic, gas-permeable membrane and via a line into the pressure medium chamber from where the infusion liquid is pressurized via the flexible wall of the liquid chamber. The infusion speed can take place via the gas pressure and / or via a control valve in the infusion line leading from the device to the patient. Such devices for metered delivery An infusion liquid has the advantage that you can supply a patient with infusion liquid over a longer period of time at an almost constant pressure, the patient remaining mobile during the administration of the infusion since he can carry the device on his body. A disadvantage of this known device is that it is only a disposable product, which is relatively expensive to produce and must be disposed of after use with increased effort.
Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention
The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a device for the metered delivery of a liquid, in particular an infusion liquid, which can be manufactured inexpensively, which is at least largely reusable and causes only low operating costs.
The invention solves this problem in that the housing consists of two detachably connected parts, one of which forms the pressure medium chamber and the other interchangeably receives the liquid chamber designed as a liquid-tight infusion bag, and in that the housing part with the pressure medium chamber relative to the housing part receiving the infusion bag sealed by a membrane and connected to a gas pressure source.
With the invention, a reusable device for the metered delivery of a liquid is created in a simple manner in that medicinal products filled or diluted in infusion bags or, for example, plant protection agents or fertilizers for plants can be inserted into the device in a simple manner, with infusion bags being different Dimensions and filling quantity can be used in a device according to the invention. Before the metered delivery of the liquid, only the infusion bag has to be inserted into the associated housing part and the two housing parts must then be firmly connected to one another, after which the pressure medium chamber is filled with a pressure medium in this way can be that it acts directly on the envelope of the infusion bag via the membrane and thus ensures the expulsion of the liquid or the infusion liquid from the liquid chamber at the desired pressure. The fact that the housing part with the pressure medium chamber is sealed from the housing part receiving the infusion bag by a membrane and connected to a gas pressure source results in a particularly simple, less fault-prone and reusable construction of a device according to the invention, which also causes only low operating costs. The gas pressure source is connected, for example, to the housing part forming the pressure medium chamber or inserted into a corresponding recess formed by the pressure medium chamber, which results in particularly compact conditions.
One of the two housing parts releasably connected to one another thus receives the pressure medium chamber sealed by a membrane and the other housing part accommodates the infusion bag, as a result of which the infusion bag can be changed particularly quickly and easily. In addition, it is recommended according to an advantageous embodiment of the invention if the two housing parts are connected to one another in an articulated manner and have a locking device on the opposite side, as a result of which the two housing parts are obviously mutually apparent, but are nevertheless captively connected and lockable.
As a gas pressure source, the gas pressure generators known from WO 95/23641 A1 are particularly recommended, which are preferably connected to the pressure medium chamber via a control and / or pressure reducing valve, in order to ensure the most constant, adjustable pressure over the entire administration period of the infusion liquid and that To be able to interrupt gas supply to the pressure medium chamber at any time if necessary. In the simplest case, a conventional pressure relief valve can be provided as the pressure reducing valve. To regulate the ventilation or to reset the membrane or to divert the gas when changing the infusion bag or the gas pressure It is advantageous if the gas pressure source is exchangeably connected to the control or pressure reducing valve assigned to the housing.

Weg zur Ausführung der ErfindungWay of carrying out the invention
A device according to the invention for the metered delivery of an infusion liquid comprises a housing 1, which receives a flexible liquid chamber in the form of an infusion bag 2 and has a pressure medium chamber 3, via which a flexible wall 4 of the infusion bag 2 can be acted upon from the outside via a membrane 5 with pressure medium. The housing 1 consists of two housing parts 6, 7 which are articulated on one side by means of two hinge joints 8 and on the opposite side have a locking device 9 with which the two housing parts 6, 7 can be fixed in their position in a mutually closed position are.
Of the two detachably connected housing parts 6, 7, one housing part 6 interchangeably accommodates the pressure medium chamber 3 and the other housing part 7 the liquid-tight infusion bag 2. The housing part 6 with the pressure medium chamber 3 is sealed off from the housing part 7 receiving the infusion bag 2 by the membrane 5 and connected via a line 10 to an exchangeable gas pressure source 11. The membrane is glued, welded or the like to the associated housing part 6, for example in the region of the parting plane of the two housing parts 6, 7 the gas pressure source 11 and the pressure medium chamber 3, a control valve 12 and a pressure reducing valve 13 are arranged, with which the gas supply from the gas pressure source 11 to the pressure medium chamber 3 can be controlled and regulated and the gas pressure can be limited to a preset maximum value. Since after use of the device according to the invention only the gas pressure source 11 and the infusion bag 2 need to be changed and the rest of the device should be reusable, the gas pressure source 11 is connected to the control valve 12 assigned to the housing 1 via a plug-in coupling 14.
The gas pressure source 11 consists of a container 15 with a hydrophobic, gas-permeable membrane 16, which absorbs an organic acid 17, in particular citric acid, in the required concentration and with a tablet separated from the acid 17 via a film 18 or the like 19 pressed carbonate preparation, in particular from sodium carbonate with binders.
To use the device according to the invention, an infusion bag 2 is inserted into the opened housing 1 (see FIG. 3), the infusion tube 20 of which is closed, for example, with a clamp (not shown) and then the housing part 6 receiving the pressure medium chamber 3 with the housing part 7 receiving the infusion bag 2 locked. The gas pressure source 11 is then activated in that the tablet 19 is brought into contact with the acid 17 by destroying the film 18, after which the pressure medium, in particular carbon dioxide, is produced as a result of the chemical reaction taking place. The gas-permeable membrane 16 ensures that only gases get into the pressure medium chamber 3 and liquids are retained in the container 15. Basically, the gas pressure source 11 is intended for single use, but under certain circumstances several infusion bags can be infused in direct succession with the same gas pressure source 11. This depends on the bag volume and the infusion speed. After the start of the reaction in the gas pressure source 11, the gas is introduced from the container 15 via the control valve 12 into the pressure medium chamber 3, where the membrane 5 is attached to the flexible wall 4 of the Infusion bag 2 nestles and the infusion liquid contained in the infusion bag 2 with the desired pressure to expel the infusion liquid from the infusion bag 2 through the infusion tube 20. After completion of the infusion process, the infusion bag 2 can be removed from the opened housing 1 and disposed of, and the gas pressure source 11 can be removed from the housing 1, after which the membrane 5 is moved back into its basic position when the control valve 12 is open. After inserting a new infusion bag 2 into the housing 1 and plugging in a new gas pressure source, the device according to the invention is ready for operation again.
