Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant l'administration contrôlée d'un agent bioactif dans un milieu liquide, lequel dispositif présente un noyau cylindrique extrudé (1) en matériau de base dans lequel l'agent est dispersé, ce noyau présentant soit plusieurs lumières (5, 6) s'étendant de façon généralement axiale entre les deux extrémités (3, 4) soit une lumière s'étendant entre les deux extrémités, mais espacée de l'axe du noyau, ledit noyau étant érodable. La paroi cylindrique extérieure (2) peut présenter un revêtement insoluble et imperméable, l'agent actif n'étant libéré que par le passage de liquide à travers la ou les lumières. La sélection du diamètre et de la longueur des lumières ainsi que du matériau de base et du revêtement permet de contrôler la vitesse de libération de l'agent. Ce dispositif présente une utilité particulière comme dispositif d'administration orale de médicaments.
