Abstract

The invention relates to an infrared luminous material for generating an infrared radiation, comprising a fuel, an oxidizing agent and a binder which contains no metals or metal-containing compounds and no halogens or halogen-containing compounds. Such an infrared luminous material is particularly advantageous in infrared Täuschkö bodies for civil aircraft used.
