Die mit der Erfindung erreichbaren Vorteile bestehen neben einer Verringerung des Zeit- und Personalaufwands bei der Wandmontage einer Dunstabzugshaube insbesondere darin, dass das erfindungsgemäße Montagesystem aus weniger Einzelteilen besteht und somit die Gefahr eines unvollständigen Montagesatzes reduziert ist. Die Anzahl der Einzelteile ist leichter und damit schneller zu überblicken und die Gefahr des Verlierens von Einzelteilen bei dem Abpacken und dem Transport des Montagesatzes ist verringert. Das Sicherungsmittel verhindert ein ungewünschtes Lösen der Halteplatte von der Montageplatte. Auf diese Weise ist gewährleistet, dass das Montagesystem als eine Baueinheit während des Abpackens sowie bei dem Transport zu dem Einbauort der Dunstabzugshaube und bei der Wandmontage vor Ort erhalten bleibt. Ein zeitraubendes und damit kostenintensives Ausrichten der Montageplatte und der Halteplatte entfällt bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Montagesystem, da die beiden Platten während der Wandmontage des Montagesystems aneinander formschlüssig gehalten sind und bei an der Wand montierter Montageplatte durch deren Lage gleichzeitig die Lage der Halteplatte bis auf einen Bewegungsfreiheitsgrad im Wesentlichen festgelegt ist. Ferner ist dabei die Unterstützung durch eine zweite Person nicht erforderlich. - Mounting system for an extractor hood which is fixable to a wall and comprises an intake housing and a chimney housing, comprising a mounting plate (2) for retaining the intake housing, which plate comprises a projection on each of two opposite sides which are spaced apart from one another, and a retaining plate (4) for retaining the chimney housing, the mounting plate (2) and the retaining plate (4) being fixable to a wall (10) and the retaining plate (4) being formed from a crossbar (4.1) and two guide rails (4.2), each of which are arranged on one of the two end faces of the crossbar (4.1) and extend substantially in parallel with one another, the guide rails (4.2) of the retaining plate (4) being formed as longitudinal profiles (4.2), each of which engage around a projection (2.2.1) on the mounting plate (2) when the mounting system is assembled in such a way that a movement of the retaining plate (4) relative to the mounting plate (2) and in parallel with the longitudinal axes of the guide rails (4.2) is possible, and movement perpendicular thereto is prevented,
