Description
The invention relates to a device for emergency lowering of a load-bearing means in a stacker according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Usually, the load carrying means, usually a fork, is raised and lowered by means of at least one hydraulic cylinder. In the supply line to the hydraulic cylinder, a control valve is connected to selectively hold a load in a raised position, to raise or lower the load. It may be the case that when the load is raised, a failure or failure of the electrical or hydraulic supply occurs, and the operator is unable to lower the load by operating the control valve. In this case, a device is required to initiate a so-called emergency lowering.
It is well known to arrange a line between the hydraulic cylinder and a tank for the hydraulic medium and to switch in this a check valve, which normally shuts off the line. The shut-off valve is manually operable and can be opened in an emergency, which safely lowers the lifted load and places the vehicle in a safe condition. The manual valve is located in an area of the vehicle that can be reached by the operator without the risk of being involuntarily actuated.

The invention has for its object to provide a device for emergency lowering of a load-bearing means in a truck, which is easy to install, requires very little space and can be realized by simple means.
This object is solved by the features of patent claim 1.
In the device according to the invention, the bypass is formed by a bypass branch in the valve block. In the bypass branch, a screw-shaped locking element with an externally threaded portion is screwed into a threaded bore of the valve block. In the fully screwed position thereby the bypass branch is shut off. A torque transmitting cable is rotatably connected to the end of the locking element. At the other end of the rope a handle for the rotation of the rope is attached.
According to the invention, the blocking element is designed in the manner of a grub screw, which is known to have a tip which engages in a correspondingly shaped recess at the bottom of the threaded bore when the blocking element is in the shut-off position. The blocking element may itself comprise an element, e.g. Press a ball against a seat to lock the bypass branch.
The cable or the flexible shaft is rotatably mounted near the handle in a stationary opening. The handle, for example, a hexagon, is arranged so that it can be reached by the operator in an emergency, without the risk that it will be operated unintentionally.
The solution according to the invention has several advantages.
