Description
The invention relates to a door viewer, which has a tubular housing for insertion into an opening of a door leaf, wherein the housing carries an optical device, and at least one separating element is provided, which divides the housing into at least two, in the axial direction adjacent sections, according to the preamble of
Door spies of this type have been known for years and are either as a one-piece, tubular housing, which carries the optical device and is inserted into an opening of a door leaf, executed, or as a two-part housing, wherein the respective portions of each outer side of the door leaf in the Breakthrough introduced and screwed together about. The housing or the parts of the housing are made, in particular for use in fire doors, due to the better temperature resistance of a metallic material.

However, there is the problem that with large heat development on one side of the door leaf of the spyhole forms a thermal bridge on the opposite side of the door leaf. Due to fire regulations, however, it is provided that the heat transfer to the opposite side may not exceed certain values. In particular, difficulties arise when the spyhole together with a voltage applied to a door leaf outside cover plate, such as a nameplate executed should be, since the cover plate, which is also usually made of a metallic material, in case of fire can represent a significant source of heat on the side facing away from the door leaf.
The thermal bridge formed by a peephole with metallic housing also has the disadvantage that in the case of house entrance doors or pergola doors that lead directly from the living areas into the open, it can lead to the formation of condensation, which impairs the function of the fish peephole.
It is therefore the object of the invention to provide a door viewer which avoids these disadvantages. In particular, a door viewer should be created, which reduces heat transfer through the housing of the door spy in the event of fire and thus fulfills prescribed fire protection regulations. Furthermore, the door viewer according to the invention should avoid the formation of condensation.
These objects are achieved by the features of
According to
The door viewer according to the invention is particularly suitable for use with on a door leaf outer surface adjacent cover plate so that it is proposed according to
According to

Thus, the thermal bridge formed by the housing of the door spy is interrupted by the separating
