- the cavity 23 has a shape matching that of the blades 12 (cf. figure 1); this is made to form a labyrinth seal between the two ports, enabling the air to be discharged through the above-mentioned ports during operation of the blower which takes place as follows.
- the blades 12 drive the air along opposite sides with respect to the baffle 14: the latter therefore acts as a dividing wall which prevents interference in the movement of the air that may cause pressure losses.
- baffle 14 and the blades 12 have the same radial height, thus creating uniform conditions both with respect to the median plane and with respect to the outer circumference of the rotor 6.
- the radial height of the baffle and of the blades is smaller compared with that of the toroidal chamber 15, so as to maintain the same pressure on both sides of the rotor.
- Air is sent to the delivery channel 30 at each revolution of the rotor, through the port 26; the latter is arranged to the side with respect to the blades 12, while the manifold 28 is in a tangential position relative to the path of the blades and is configured with a semicircular cross-section.
- This provides for the discharge of the air from the toroidal chamber 15, because the side port 26 is adjacent to it and there are no obstacles to overcome or ducts to run through while the position and semicircular shape of the manifold 28 assist the centrifugal component of the velocity of the air, so as to make full use of the associated energy and not lose pressure.

Claims (9)
- Seitenkanallüfter, umfassend:eine ringförmige Kammer (15), in der zumindest ein Einlassanschluss (25) und ein Auslassanschluss (26) für die Luft oder ein anderes Fluid, das verarbeitet wird, vorhanden ist;einen Rotor (6) mit mehreren umfänglichen Blättern (12), die sich in die ringförmige Kammer (15) erstrecken; einen Ansaugkanal (29) und einen Abzugskanal (30), die entsprechend mit dem Einlassanschluss (25) und dem Auslassanschluss (26) der ringförmigen Kammer (15) in Verbindung stehen, wobeijeder der Anschlüsse (25, 26) mit einem entsprechenden rohrförmigen Verteiler (27, 28) verbunden ist, der sich quer zu einer Medianebene des Rotors erstreckt, der mit einem der Kanäle (29, 30) an einem Ende verbunden ist und mit einem anderen Verteiler (27', 28') an dem anderen Ende verbunden werden kann,und dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
er ein Gehäuse (16, 16') und eine Abdeckung (18, 18') umfasst, die nebeneinander angeordnet sind, um die ringförmige Kammer (15) zwischen ihnen auszubilden, wobei der Verteiler (27, 28; 27', 28') aus Teilen gebildet ist, die entsprechend als ein Stück in dem Gehäuse (16, 16') und der Abdeckung (18, 18') ausgebildet sind. - Lüfter nach Anspruch 1, wobei jeder Verteiler (27, 28) einen offenen Querschnitt an dem Ende aufweist, mit dem der Anschluss (25, 26) verbunden ist.
- Lüfter nach Anspruch 1 und 2, wobei um jeden Verteiler (27,28; 27', 28') ein Raum (39, 40; 39', 40') ist.
- Lüfter nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Einlass und der Auslassanschluss (25, 26) in der Wand der ringförmigen Kammer (15) in einer Position neben den Blättern (12) des Rotors (6) ausgebildet ist.
- Lüfter nach Anspruch 1, wobei mehrere Stufen (S, S'), von denen jede ein Gehäuse (16,16'), eine Abdeckung (18, 18') und den zugehörigen Rotor (6, 6') umfasst, an derselben Welle (4) befestigt sind und in Reihe miteinander durch winkligen Versatz in Bezug aufeinander verbunden sind, um den entsprechenden Auslassverteiler (28') und Einlassverteiler (27) zu verbinden.
- Lüfter nach Anspruch 1, wobei mehrere Stufen (S,S'), von denen jede ein Gehäuse (16,16'), eine Abdeckung (18, 18') und den zugehörigen Rotor (6, 6') umfasst, an derselben Welle (4) befestigt sind, wobei die entsprechenden Einlassverteiler (27, 27') und Auslassverteiler (28, 28') miteinander verbunden sind, und wobei der Ansaug und der Abzugskanal (29, 30) einen Querschnitt aufweisen, der gleich dem der Verteiler plus dem der Räume (39, 40; 39', 40'), die sie umgeben, ist.
- Lüfter nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei sich zwischen den Blättern (12, 12') zumindest eines Rotors (6, 6') eine Ablenkplatte (14, 14') befindet, die dieselbe radiale Höhe aufweist wie die Blätter, die deren Oberflächen durch zwei teilt und die sich in einer Ebene quer zur Drehachse des Rotors erstreckt.
- Lüfter nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Ablenkplatte (14, 14') durch die sich verjüngende Verlängerung eines Rings (10, 10') des Rotors (6, 6') gebildet ist.
- Lüfter nach Anspruch 8, wobei die Ablenkplatte (14, 14') in einer Medianebene der Blätter (12, 12') liegt.
