Description

La présente invention concerne un emballage de conditionnement d'un produit alimentaire selon le préambule de la revendication 1.The present invention relates to a packaging for packaging a food product according to the preamble of claim 1.

The invention applies in particular to the packaging of processed cheese.

In what follows, packaging with substantially triangular bottoms means packaging whose funds are actually triangular with straight sides, but also those whose funds have a curved side and therefore have a disc sector shape.

FR-2 597 436 describes a package of the aforementioned type for packaging a portion of processed cheese. This package consists of two aluminum sheets. The guide means are strips attached to the first sheet. The first ends of the tear guide strips overlap to form the gripping tab.

EP-803,439 proposed to replace aluminum in polypropylene packaging packaging with processed cheese to facilitate recycling. The package described in this document consists of three sheets and the opening is effected by tearing the side walls and the heel of the package.

Such an opening method is not entirely satisfactory insofar as it releases only the side walls and the heel of the processed cheese portion. The consumer must touch the cheese to remove the lid or the bottom of the packaging before consuming the product.

The packaging structure and the mode of opening which are described in FR-2 597 436 are more satisfying for consumers. However, such a structure can not be used with a material such as polypropylene which is much stronger than aluminum.

Thus, the propagation of tears, as provided for in FR-2 597 436 , could not occur in a polypropylene sheet.

In addition, it is difficult to obtain a perfect overlap of the ends of the strips, as described in FR-2 597 436 and it is common in practice for a consumer to enter only one of these. The consumer can not then obtain a full opening of the package, parts of the portion of processed cheese remaining in the package and the consumer must then touch the cheese to release it completely from the package.

An object of the invention is to solve these problems by providing a packaging of the aforementioned type which, while being more easily recyclable, can be opened in a simple and satisfactory manner to provide access to the entire packaged product.

A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un emballage selon la revendication 1.For this purpose, the subject of the invention is a package according to claim 1.

According to particular embodiments, the packaging may comprise one or more of the features of claims 2 to 6.

The invention further relates to an assembly according to claim 7. According to a particular embodiment, the assembly may comprise the optional feature presented in claim 8.

The invention also relates to a sheet according to claim 9.

The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of example, and with reference to the appended drawings, in which:
  • the figure 1 is a schematic plan view of a first sheet of a package according to the invention before folding,
  • the Figures 2 and 3 are schematic views in perspective illustrating two successive stages of the realization of the packaging from the sheet of the figure 1 ,

  • the Figures 5 and 6 are schematic views representing two successive stages of the opening of the packaging of the figure 4 .

The sheet 1 shown on the figure 1 is a polypropylene sheet for packaging a portion of processed cheese based disc sector.

-To form a package, and as depicted on the figure 2 , the sheet 1 is shaped into a cup 2 by folding, along the lines represented in dashed lines on the figure 1 . -

Les parois latérales 9 et 11 se rejoignent le long d'une pointe 15 opposée au talon 13.The bucket 2 comprises a bottom 3 in the form of a sector of disk delimited by two lateral edges 5 and 7 and an arcuate edge 8. Perpendicularly to the plane of the bottom 3, the bucket 2 comprises two lateral walls 9 and 11, which are extend along the straight edges 5 and 7, and a curved heel wall 13 which extends along the arcuate edge 8. The side walls 9 and 11 meet along a tip 15 opposite the heel 13.

The side walls 9 and 11 and the heel 13 are extended by flaps, respectively 17, 19 and 21, intended to be folded along fold lines 23, 25 and 27, when closing the package.

The sheet 1 before folding further comprises intermediate zones 29, 31 and 33 disposed respectively between the walls 9 and 11 and their flaps 17 and 19, between the wall 9 and the heel 13 and their flaps 17 and 21, and between the heel 13 and the wall 11 and their flaps 21 and 19. The lateral edges 35 and 37 of the heel 13 and the flap 21 extend the side edges 5 and 7 of the bottom 3. The bat 21 has a central tip 39 which projects from opposite of the intermediate zone 29.

As illustrated by figure 1 two cutouts 41 and 43 are formed in the sheet 1 between the outer edge 45 of the point 39 and the outer edges 47 and 48 of the remainder of the flap 21. Fold lines 49 and 50 extend from the cutouts 41 and 43 to the points of intersection between the curved fold line 27 and the side edges 35 and 37 of the heel 13. Before folding of the sheet 1, the fold lines 49 and 50 are inclined with respect to the side edges 35 and 37.

The sheet 1 is also provided, on the side intended to form the inner face of the cup 2, two strips 51a and 51b tear guide. The two strips 51a and 51b are substantially symmetrical with respect to a median axis A of the sheet 1. The strips 51a and 51b have been heat-sealed at the same time between them and on the sheet 1. The strips 51a and 51b are for example made of polypropylene.

As illustrated by figure 1 each of the strips 51a, 51b has a first rectilinear end 53a, 53b extending from the point 39 in the flap 21 and in the heel 13, to the side edge 35, 37. Then, the strips 51a, 51 b extend straight along the side edges 5 and 7 and terminate in second ends 55a and 55b, beyond a point of intersection 57. The ends 55a and 55b extend in the side walls 9 and 11 and in the intermediate zone 29.

The first ends 53a and 53b are disposed close to the cutouts 41 and 43, respectively, and are laterally spaced from one another.

Before folding of the sheet 1, the ends 53a and 53b converge towards each other opposite the point of intersection 57 and delimit between them, in the flap 21, a pull tab 58 comprising the tip 39 and which extends substantially over the entire width of the flap 21. After the first ends 53a and 53b, the two strips 51a and 51b converge towards one another to the point of intersection 57, before diverging again .

Les secondes extrémités 55a et 55b des bandes 51 a et 51 b s'étendent dans le volet 69.To get the bucket 2 of the figure 2 from the sheet 1, the intermediate areas 31 and 33 connecting the side walls 9 and 11 and the heel 13 are folded from the bottom 3 in their middle along the lines 59 and 61, visible on the figure 1 . The triangular shutters thus formed 63 and 65 are folded respectively on the side walls 9 and 11 along the lateral edges 35 and 37 of the heel 13. As for the intermediate zone 29 comprising the ends of the strips 51a and 51b, it is also folded in the middle along a fold line 67 ( figure 1 ) and the triangular shutter thus formed 69 is folded over the side wall 9. The second ends 55a and 55b of the strips 51a and 51b extend in the shutter 69.

These various folding operations are for example carried out hot, as described in EP-803,439 in order to obtain a plastic deformation of the polypropylene of the sheet 1. This hot folding can, for example, be implemented in a folding stack in which the sheet 1 is pushed. fold lines by mechanical deformation of the sheet 1, for example by means of a wheel.

In the cup 2 thus obtained, a quantity of melted cheese is hot cast on a height equal to the height of the side walls 9 and 11 and the heel 13, in order to constitute a portion 70 visible on the figure 2 .

This second sheet 71 forms the closure lid of the cup 2. It is, for example, also made of polypropylene. Then, as illustrated by figure 3 , the flap 21 is folded over the sheet 71 and sealed thereon on both sides of the cutouts 41 and 43 leaving free the tip 58.

The flaps 17 and 19 are then folded and sealed on the second sheet 71, as illustrated by the figure 4 .

An assembly 73 is thus obtained comprising a package 75, consisting of sheets 1 and 71, and the portion of processed cheese 70 packaged in package 75.

The opening of the packaging 75 is carried out as illustrated by the Figures 5 and 6 . The consumer presses the thumb and forefinger of one hand on the two side walls 9 and 11 and grasps with the other hand the pull tab 58. By pulling on this tongue 58 in one movement, he initiates tears at the cutouts 41 and 43. As the traction continues, the tears propagate along the bands 51a and 51b which guide them. The consumer can thus release in its entirety the heel 77 of the portion 70, then the large triangular face 79 ( figure 6 ) until the second ends 55a and 55b of the strips 51a and 51b cause the tear along the tip 15 thus completely releasing the side walls 9 and 11, it only remains to fold as illustrated by the arrows 81 on the figure 6 .

The package 75 can therefore be opened by providing access to the entire portion 70, without the need to touch the portion 70. In addition, the rigidity of the material used to form the sheet 1 allows the strips 51a and 51b to be spaced from each other while allowing satisfactory opening. The consumer thus benefits from a gripping tongue 58 of large dimensions and does not risk, as in the packaging of FR-2 597 436 , to use only one of the two tears guiding strips.

In addition, the tear guide path does not show a significant change of direction as in FR-2 597 436 . So despite the resistance of the material used to form the sheet 1, the tears initiated by the cuts 41 and 43 propagate satisfactorily.

Note also that the width of the pull tab 58 and the chosen opening mode leads to a rational opening and can be implemented by virtually all consumers.

In addition, the guide of the tears being provided by strips 51a and 51b of small width, the overall cost of the package 75 remains low and it has a good seal.

It should be noted that the above principles can be used with sheet 1 and / or sheet 71 made from other plastics than polypropylene.

In addition, the strips 51a and 51b can be replaced by guide means of other kinds.

Thus, it may be local weakenings of the first sheet 1, obtained for example by means of a wheel or a laser beam.
