Definitions
- the invention relates to the assembly of a torsion spring between a fixed part and a moving part of a lighting device and / or motor vehicle signaling.
- Projectors may also have rotating optical modules, comprising by optical module at least the light source associated with its reflector. This is the case of turn-based projectors, which also known as DBL for Dynamic Bending Light ".
- Projectors can also be designed to have movable reflectors, for example headlamps equipped with automatic correction of attitude.
- a mobile screen projector in particular by pivoting, generally comprises a support piece fixed motor and a movable support part, the mobile support part being intended to tilt relative to the engine support part.
- the support piece mobile supports at least one pivoting flap.
- a movable support piece provided with the pivoting flap is intended to switch between a first position, said active position, in which light signals emitted by a light source of the projector are intercepted by the pivoting flap and a second position, said position passive, in which the pivoting flap does not intercept the beams bright light source.
- a torsion spring acting in the relative movement between the fixed part and the moving part is useful to have recourse to a torsion spring acting in the relative movement between the fixed part and the moving part. This is the case, for example, when the moving part is moved by a motor relative to a fixed part, and that a torsion spring is also provided between the two parts so that, in case of failure of the motor, the moving part, thanks to said spring, can rebase into a security position (for example, in a non-glare code position in the case of the bi-function cache mentioned above).
- the invention aims to facilitate the mounting of projectors which have moving parts, especially those using springs.
- it also aims to obtain such projectors that are compact, simple design and yet reliable, especially in level of movement of said moving parts.
- the invention is more particularly intended for the field of vehicle projectors but could also apply in other areas.
- the removable cover and the infrared filter are two particular examples of the pivoting flap equipping the devices projectors according to the invention.
- the projectors concerned by the invention are all those that are likely to be equipped of a moving part, regardless of the function performed by said part, able to move from one position to another at least in the projector.
- the first branch is moved by a second linear motion in the opposite direction of the first movement of the return to the initial position of the spring.
- a transformation of linear movements in rotational movements may need to release a space to allow the first branch and the second branch to articulate one with respect to the other.
- space is responsible for a the size of the projector.
- the connecting means can be weakened following the linear movements and following the rotational movements repeating in time.
- a torsion spring is also known to rotate the moving part relative to the engine support part by means of a DC motor and by via a torsion spring.
- a torsion spring is formed of a central portion or body having a plurality of turns, a first end and a second end. The first end and the second end are placed on either side of the central part while extending this same central part.
- the central part is positioned around a support means formed on the movable support piece and longitudinally with respect to an axis of this confused support means with an axis of extension of the same spring.
- the first end and the second end are respectively placed against the piece mobile support and against the engine support part so as to maintain position activates the pivoting flap.
- the motor is set to allow fold down the pivoting flap from the active position direction of the passive position, while possibly maintaining this passive position of the pivoting flap.
- the spring allows the pivoting flap to return to its initial active position by simply folding the pivoting flap from the passive position towards the active position.
- the mounting of the mobile support part in the support part motor can be complicated by the presence of this spring.
- the torsion spring is placed between the two pieces with a torsion torque between the two ends of the spring which allows the same spring to keep the pivoting flap in the active position.
- Such a torsion torque is obtained by rotating around the axis of elongation of the spring one of ends with respect to each other in a winding direction the turns of the central part of the spring.
- the step of wrapping one of the two ends around the lengthening axis of the spring is called a step of pre-armature of the spring which leads to a torsion torque predetermined spring between the two ends. This torsion torque is greater than that required for a spring placed against the piece mobile support and against the engine support part.
- Such a torsion torque of the necessary spring between the movable support part and the engine support part corresponds to a sufficient torque to maintain permanently the pivoting shutter in active position.
- An operator responsible for mounting the device a projector equipped with such a pivoting torsion spring flap must therefore use specific tools able to maintain such a spring while creating twisting force by winding one of the two ends as previously described, the time required to embed the support piece mobile in the engine support part.
- a projector device equipped with a movable support piece provided a pre-positioning pin of the torsion spring.
- the invention also proposes a shoulder formed by the engine support part.
- the pre-positioning pin is formed by the movable support piece to a place near the light source compared to another place formed by the shoulder against which is intended to rest the torsion spring in the engine support part, longitudinally with respect to an axis horizontal propagation of the light beam from a rear part in direction of a front part of the projector device.
- one of the two ends of the torsion spring is positioned in abutment against the movable support piece and the other end is previously positioned in support also against the support piece mobile. More precisely, the other end is placed in support against the pre-positioning pin after winding of this same end according to the winding direction of the turns of the central part.
- a step of pre-arming the torsion spring is released from the lug to come to rest against the shoulder formed by the support piece engine.
- the invention thus allows the operator (or the robot if the operation assembly is automated) to be able to assemble the part more easily mobile to the fixed part via the spring, with a correct arming and simultaneous spring, thanks to this prior pre-weave step.
- the moving part comprises a pre-winding pin against which rests one of the ends of the spring during assembly.
- the operator or the machine can pre-arm the spring with respect to a single piece, which is easily achievable.
- the pre-wrap pin has at least one chamfered area. This chamfered area allows to guide the end of the spring to fix on the pin, so as to facilitate / guarantee correct positioning.
- the moving part also comprises a pin functional having at least one stop.
- a pin functional having at least one stop we understand by ergot "Functional" the lug that will hold the other end of the spring as well in the pre-arming phase only in the assembled and finished projector, as opposed to the pre-wrap pin which, once assembly is complete, has more function in the finished projector.
- the moving part comprises a support means of the spring body having a cylinder portion projecting and provided retaining means of the spring body after arming.
- These means of retentions are for example in the form of a collar, or one or several stops arranged radially at the edge or near the edge outside the cylinder portion.
- the unreinforced spring body preferably has a diameter greater than the apparent diameter of the cylinder portion in the area where the retaining means of the collar or abutment type are arranged, and a diameter less than said apparent diameter once it is armed.
- Appent diameter the diameter of the virtual circle in the area provided with restraining means and which passes through the edges most radially away from the cylinder body of said stop means (s) or collar.
- the actual diameter of the cylinder is chosen similar to the diameter of the body of the armed spring.
- the spring according to the invention allows a movement relative to a moving part chosen from a pivoting cover, a filter of type infra-red filter, a reflector, an optical module, and a fixed part of type support part.
- the invention also relates to a lighting device and / or signaling for a motor vehicle, of the projector type, comprising at least minus a fixed part relative to a moving part, and a torsion spring one of the ends of the spring is held on the moving part by a functional pin with at least one stop and the other end of which is maintained at the fixed part, the body of the spring being held by a means support having a cylinder portion projecting and provided with retaining means of the spring body.
- the said moving part can to understand the pre-amarge pin and the retaining means described more high.
- the subject of the invention is also the vehicle comprising one less of these devices.
- the invention advantageously makes it possible to dispose the spring of torsion on the mobile support part before assembly of the part movable support in the engine support part in a fixed manner, without play, of have a mobile support piece equipped with the torsion spring without risking to lose the torsion spring by sliding the spring along the means of support.
- the invention also makes it possible to store very easily such a movable support member provided with the torsion spring.
- the support means around which is placed the central part of the spring forms a stop collar, continuous or discontinuous.
- This stop collar advantageously allows prevent the spring from escaping from the support means after one of the two ends have been wound around the axis of elongation of the spring as previously mentioned.
- the invention advantageously makes it possible to pre-arm the spring of twist directly on the moving support piece without the torsion spring is likely to escape from that same room.
