Abstract

Holding arrangement for removably holding a showerhead comprises a holder for the showerhead (8) that is designed so that it attaches to a point of the housing of the showerhead that is not discernible for a holder and acts in the release or insertion direction by a force-locking connection. Preferred Features: The holder is formed for attaching to the outer periphery of the showerhead housing. The showerhead remains functional after removal from the holder. The holder grips two diametrically opposite points of the showerhead housing.

Description

The invention is based on an arrangement with which a shower head can be held.

It is already known that hand showers can be fixed by means of a cone in a cone holder. The cone is located on the hand shower usually at the point where the shower hose is connected to the handle.

Also known are holders in which the handle can be inserted or inserted.

Furthermore, brackets are known in which at the junction between the hose and handle a joint with an eyelet is provided, which can be pushed onto a pin of a wall bracket or a shower bar.

In a variety of these brackets, the shower head can be used in the retracted state still as a shower. In addition, there are also brackets in which the shower head is simply secured, for example by means of eyelets, which are hung on hooks.

In all known mounting arrangements for shower heads a special design on the shower head or its handle is present, which can recognize the user as intended for the holder device. Often such facilities or shape adjustments are also ugly.

In addition, a holding device for a hand shower is known ( DE 8916188 ), in which three projecting tongues distributed on a circumference hold the shower head in a position in which the jet disk is directed against the wall. At least one of the tongues has a latching nose, which engages behind the shower head.

Die hinterschnittene keilförmige Nut dient keinem anderen Zweck ( US 4458369 ).Furthermore, a holder for a hand shower is known in which the hand shower on its back has an undercut conical groove into which the holder engages with a wedge element, if the hand shower pushes onto this holder. The undercut wedge-shaped groove serves no other purpose ( US 4458369 ).

The invention is based on the object to provide a shower holder, which has extended usability.

To solve this problem, the invention proposes a mounting arrangement with the features mentioned in claim 1. Further developments of the invention are the subject of dependent claims.

By the invention it becomes possible to connect a shower head with the shower holder, which need not have a special attachment device for attachment to the shower holder. In particular, you can not see the shower head that it is intended for connection to a holder and suitable. The designer is therefore much more free in the possibilities of designing the shower head or its housing. In addition, the insertion of the shower head in the holder is much easier and easier. The shower facilitates by its form the introduction, which can be supported if necessary by the bracket. In the conventional cone holders, in which the holder engages the handle, the user must first thread the shower head on the hose or through the slot of the holder and then press the shower in a direction perpendicular thereto. In the proposed here Shower is only a very simple movement required, namely pushing the shower forward.

In particular, the holder should be designed such that it is designed to engage on a non-recognizable to the shape of the holder intended location of the housing of the shower head. It is therefore conceivable to form certain locations of the housing in their surface property for mounting, without thereby affecting the shape. Thus you can not recognize in this further embodiment of the shape of the showerhead housing that this point is intended to interact with the holder.

In particular, the holder may be designed such that it engages the outer βenumfang of the showerhead housing.

The invention proposes in a further development that the shower head remains functional after removal from the holder, so that it can be used both in its state of connection with the holder and after acceptance as a shower head. This significantly increases the functional properties.

In order to achieve a particularly useful and despite the non-specific adaptation of the shower head to the holder reliable attachment, can be inventively provided that the holder engages two diametrically opposite points of the housing of the shower head.

For this purpose, the holder according to the invention on two jaws, which are designed for engagement with the housing of the shower head.

It can be inventively provided that the jaws are acted upon each other when the shower head is inserted. This admission can be effected by the insertion of the shower head.

In a further development of the invention can be provided that the two jaws of the holder are connected by a claimed element to train together.

The tension element may in particular be designed in such a way that, when the shower head is inserted, there is a surface contact between the tension element and the showerhead housing. This can be effected both by an adaptation of the shape of the tension element to the shape of the housing and by a flexible configuration of the tension element.

It is also possible to design the tension member so that it does not rest against the shower head.

According to the invention it can be provided that the shower head is designed as a hand shower with a handle inserted on the housing of the hand shower. The attachment of the shower head to the bracket is not done on the handle, but on the housing of the shower head.

To be particularly favorable, it has been found that the showerhead housing has the shape of a discus.

FIG. 1 shows very simplified from the side a shower holder with a support assembly according to the invention. This shower holder is mounted on a wall 1 in the example shown. For attachment to the wall is a mounting member 2, in the example shown in the form of a console 3, which is screwed for example to the wall. In the console 3, a connection is made with a coming from a mixing valve water pipe. At a projection 4 of the console 3, a wall arm 5 is pivotally mounted. The pivot axis is horizontal and perpendicular to the paper plane. To determine the Wandarms 5 in a certain angular position is a clamping screw which can be operated by means of a handle 6. The wall arm extends from the attachment member 2 away from the wall and terminates in a free end 7. In the region of the free end 7 is on the wall arm 5 in the FIG. 1 unspecified explained mounting bracket for a shower head 8. The shower head 8 is disk-shaped in the illustrated embodiment. It is provided with a handle 9, which is slightly angled relative to the plane of the shower head 8. In the handle 9 performs a shower hose 10, which then hangs freely from there, which is not shown in detail. The other end of the shower hose 10 is connected to the attachment member 2. The wall arm 5 can, as already mentioned, be pivoted about a horizontal axis, so that it occupies different angular positions relative to the wall when pivoting upwards and pivoting downwards. The pivot angle of the wall arm 5 is for example 180 degrees.

The FIG. 2 now shows a view of the arrangement of FIG. 1 in a simplified representation. The wall arm 5 bifurcates shortly behind its attachment to the console 3. It thus forms two prongs 11, which are formed diverging and in the region of the free end 7 of the wall arm again parallel to each other. There is provided between the two ends 12 of the two prongs a holder 13, which has already been mentioned. The bracket holds the shower head 8, which is thus located between the two front ends 12.

As the holder looks in detail, you can in a first example of the FIG. 3 remove. The housing of the shower head 8 is disc-shaped with a circumference which extends approximately elliptical. On the inside of the two legs 11 of the wall arm 5, two jaws 14 are arranged, whose inner contour has the same shape as the outer contour of the shower head housing. As a result, the shower head 8 is received in a kind of positive engagement, the positive engagement acts up and down. In the direction perpendicular to the paper plane, however, the determination is made non-positively. For this purpose, either an indirect clamping in each jaw 14, or to an admission of the two jaws 14 toward each other. This loading of the two jaws 14 on each other can be achieved in that their mutual distance is slightly smaller than the corresponding transverse dimension or the diameter of the showerhead housing 8. This is an admission by inserting the shower head housing perpendicular to the paper plane between the two jaws 14th reached. The application is thus effected by a deformation of the two arms 11 of the wall arm. The extension of the jaws 14 perpendicular to the plane of the paper FIG. 3 is relatively short, so that they attack only on the showerhead housing at two diametrically opposite locations over a very short length of the circumference. This is simplified in FIG. 4 shown.

In FIG. 5 It is shown how the two jaws 14 of the holder can be connected to each other by a bracket 15, which is either adapted to the shape of the showerhead housing 8 or is designed so flexible that it adapts to this shape. By the bracket 15, which is claimed essentially to train, an amplification of the clamping action can be achieved.

The two jaws 14 are rotatably mounted on the front ends 12 of the two arms 11 of the wall arm, so that the holder can be pivoted together with the shower head 8 about a horizontal axis. It may be provided a locking element, similar to the rotary handle 6 of FIG. 1 to lock the shower head in a certain position.

The shower head can be touched on the handle 9 and pulled out of the holder perpendicular to the plane of the paper, preferably in the direction of the wall. If the jaws 14, see also FIG. 4 , in the center plane of the showerhead housing 8 have a circular arc-shaped inner contour 16, there is also a certain locking of the showerhead housing in the holder, without the showerhead housing has to have a shape at which it can be seen that this position should be supported. One can not see the shower head taken out of the holder that it is intended to be mounted in a shower holder.

In FIG. 2 an embodiment is shown in which the shower head is mounted with its holder between the ends of a fork. It is of course also possible and within the scope of the invention that such a holder can also be attached to a non-bifurcated arm. This can for example be done so that the holder, as shown, is mounted laterally on the front end of an arm. You could get in FIG. 2 For example, think away one of the two fork arms 11 and would then come to an embodiment in which the holder is arranged laterally or asymmetrically.

Of course, it is also possible that, for example, the center of the tension member 15 is attached to the front end of an arm, of course, also here with the possibility to provide a rotation axis.
