Device for resiliently fixing a fixed switch stock rail (1) cooperating with a movable switch rail which can move transversely to the track, the device comprising a plate (2) providing support for the stock rail (1) and a riser plate (2) for the switch rail, the stock rail (1) being held, when in use, on the external side of the track by a fixing means on the one hand and on the other hand on the internal side of the track by a substantially U-shaped resilient connector (3), said resilient connector (3) being arranged in an aperture (4) in the plate (2), the respective ends of the branches (5) of the connector penetrating, when said resilient connector (3) is placed under tension, raised recesses (7) provided for that purpose in said plate (2) by means of a stop (6) intended to provide the stress for positioning the stock rail (1) on the plate (2), characterised in that the resilient connector (3) comprises, close to the end of each branch (5) of the U from which it is formed, a projecting element (8), in the form of a boss or a lug formed in one piece with said end, said projecting elements being pressed against an upper edge (4') of the aperture (4) of the plate (2) such that the connector is inserted into said aperture as far as possible.
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the projecting elements (8) of the resilient connector (3), in the form of bosses or lugs, are produced by forging.
  3. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the distance between the end of the branches (5) of the resilient connector (3) and the distal edge of the projecting elements (8) is slightly less than the length of the opening of the aperture (4).
