Claims (9)

- An electrical contact according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the width of the cut (22) is no greater than the maximum acceptable deflection for the flexible blade (12) prior to it reaching its elastic limit, which maximum deflection is a function of the nature of the materials used and the depth of the cut, so that the blade cannot exceed its elastic limit.
- An electrical contact according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that a compression spring (23) is arranged behind the blade (12) bearing against the end of a housing (24) provided for this purpose in the conductive part (13) so as to contribute to returning the blade (12) into an initial position.
- An electrical contact according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the flexible blade (12) is also provided over at least a portion of its surface with a pellet of silver (26) for improving the passage of electric current between said contact and the opposing electrical contact (4).
- A single-pole electrical connection element in the form of a socket-outlet or a connector (1), provided with an electrical contact including at least one flexible blade (12) according to any one of claims 1 to 6 and designed to establish an electrical connection with an opposing electrical contact in the form of a pin (4) of a plug (2) or of an appliance inlet to be coupled thereto, said pin (4) exerting pressure on the blade (12) in a direction parallel to the axis of the conductive part (13).
- An electrical connection element according to claim 8, characterized in that the conductor part (13) of the electrical contact is provided with a thread (17) which terminates in the vicinity of its cut (22) and which is designed to co-operate with a screw ring (10) formed on the plug (2) or the appliance inlet in order to secure it to said connection element in the coupling position.
