Description

The invention relates to a device for detecting incipient fires according to the preamble of the first claim and a method for cleaning the device.
The invention is applicable everywhere where incipient fires in rooms or electronic devices are possible. The device is furthermore applicable where explosion zones according to ATEX95 and 137 are present, for example in the dust-contaminated industry (wood and mill industry). In the device, in a detector for detecting a fire characteristic via a supply line, which in the space to be monitored or is arranged on or in the device to be monitored and has a number of suction ports, continuously supplied to room air or device samples. If the detector detects a fire detection variable, an evaluation unit, which is electronically connected to it, outputs a signal according to predetermined criteria. The term "supply line" does not only mean pipelines that are attached to a room protection and lead to an air outlet opening in the housing of the detector and suck the room or device cooling air through suction, the supply line can also be a suction hopper, a collecting hood or a T- represent shaped pipe hood, which is placed for example on the air outlet grille of an electronic device and thereby arranged in the main cooling stream of the device. Fire detection variables are understood to mean physical quantities which are subject to measurable changes in the environment of an incipient fire, for example the ambient temperature, the solid or liquid or gas component in the ambient air or the ambient radiation.

From DE 196 05 638 C1 , a method and a device for detecting incipient fires in rooms or in electronic devices are known with a detector for detecting a fire characteristic with at least one supply line in the space to be monitored or on or in the device to be monitored is arranged and has a number of suction through which room air or device cooling air samples are supplied continuously. An evaluation unit is electronically connected to a detector and emits a signal according to predetermined criteria when the detector detects a fire detection variable. To adjust the effective cross-section of the suction openings they are covered with a film, so that the effective cross-section of the suction is reduced. This device has the disadvantage that settles increasingly dust at the holes of the intake. This leads to the detection system increasingly losing its functionality. A Device of the type mentioned, which is provided for the space protection and in which the supply line preferably consists of one or more pipes, the suction openings are distributed in the pipes at regular intervals throughout the room. Such a method and such a device are known for example from DE 295 18 042 U1 or DE 33 48 107 C2 . However, in this case it has been recognized as disadvantageous that the detection reliability of a fire parameter decreases with increasing distance from the aspirating fan due to the pressure drop occurring in the pipelines. When using the said method or device for device monitoring, ie, for example, for monitoring electronic devices, the supply line may also consist of a pipeline, which is, however, significantly shorter, so that all suction can be the same. However, they must have different diameters with different number of suction because the total suction can only be within a small bandwidth.

These must be calculated according to the laws of physics. These suction holes can be drilled on the construction site in the supply / supply lines. Due to the wall thickness of the supply line accumulates in practice at the hole of the intake more dust. This then leads to the detection system increasingly losing its functionality.
To prevent this, a frequent and high maintenance is necessary.

From DE 196 05 842 C1 discloses an apparatus and a method for defrosting an intake opening, which provides, in an intake duct of a fire alarm system, through which room or equipment air sucked and fed to a detector for detecting a fire parameter, an elastic element with a Intake opening coaxial passage opening to be arranged, which can be acted upon to defrost the suction port with a pressure surge. In the simplest case, the elastic element is simply inserted into the suction port. This has the disadvantage that in the case of a pressure surge in loose-fitting elastic element, the elastic element is blown out because it does not find enough resistance in the intake. Therefore, it is provided in a preferred embodiment, to secure the elastic member by means of a flexible sleeve on the pipe, so that the element can not fall out. However, so that such an elastic element can be freed of dust, since this element added, the relatively thick wall of the element can not be set in vibration, so that the self-cleaning effect is low. For this purpose, additional flexible elements 13 are provided, which are formed in a kind of leaf spring.

Based on this prior art, it is an object of the invention to devise a device for detecting incipient fires with a detector for detecting a fire size with at least one intake opening provided with a fan, wherein the rubber-elastic parts located in the supply line without cuff order the pipe are securely fastened in the suction opening and with a constant diameter of the suction opening should be easy to clean and provide a way to realize different flow rates.

This object is achieved by a device according to the features of the first claim and a method for cleaning the device.

Unteransprüche geben vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung wieder.Subclaims give advantageous embodiments of the invention again.

The device according to the invention provides that the suction openings in the supply line, which can have the same diameter and can be produced by drilling, have a rubber-elastic part with an inner opening with a smaller diameter. The rubber-elastic part closes the opening of the supply line not only gas-tight, but also ensures that the film is loadable on both sides, ie through the hole in the film, a gas flow into the supply line and a gas flow from the Lead out take place without the rubber-elastic part has leaks against the supply line.
According to the state of the art, in which there are suction holes which are glued over with foil, it is not possible to direct the gas flow in the opposite direction, without the release film adhering from the outside being peeled off over a longer period of use. These adhesively bonded foils are only suitable for reliably enabling the limitation of a gas flow into the device, but not for a gas flow which is carried out from the supply line.

It is advantageous to arrange the film on the rubber-elastic part at the top.
For the cleaning of the device dust particles that have been recognized in the film, eliminated by blowing a gas flow from the inside to the outside through the opening of the film by means of a fan. It is advantageous to carry out this reversal of the air flow at regular intervals. For this purpose, the air flow can be blown at predetermined time intervals from the inside against the film by a timer, so that a continuous cleaning is given.

It is advantageous to provide the film with an anti-adhesion coating. Furthermore, it is advantageous if certain areas of the intake openings are additionally provided with a filter. For this purpose, a filter can be used in the region of the intake openings over the entire tube.
This prevents dust from entering the supply line and dust concentrations that form explosive mixtures. The present invention provides two ways to protect the intake ports from contamination. Since the use with the elastic membrane in the outer diameter is considerably larger than the suction holes, a dust filter can be placed on the intake from the outside. For this purpose, a dust filter is integrated into the elastic membrane. By means of the air flow monitoring system, the condition of these dust filters is constantly checked for function. The dust filter can also be placed over the entire pipe of the supply line in the region of the intake openings in order to increase the filter surface. The filters are cleaned either by counter-rinsing, cleaning or replacement.

The great advantage of this solution according to the invention is that all suction holes get an insert which has a thin membrane with high sliding properties in the region of the suction bore. This solution according to the invention largely prevents dust deposition in the region of the bore. The further, great advantage of this invention is that the thin membrane has a certain elasticity. Should In the area of the intake openings by certain environmental properties deposit dust, which affects the reliability of the device for detecting incipient fires ", the introduction of scavenging air in the supply line can easily clean the intake, as by an increased pressure, the membrane bulges outward and the dust thereby easily detached.

The introduction of the purging air can be done via the intake fan by means of compressed air at the air outlet or via a bypass between the fan and the first suction port.
Another possibility is to reverse the intake fan in its direction of rotation. Thus, the supply line to a pressure line and cleans the suction with the outflowing air. This can also be done automatically. However, it should be noted that the fire detection is interrupted during the rinsing phase.

FIG. 4 shows a rubber-elastic part 1 which is provided with a filter 6 above the suction opening 4. In all parts, as shown in Figures 1, 2 and 4, a strong fouling is prevented by the fact that the air flow through the opening 4 is easily reversible, with the result that any dust deposits are entrained to the outside. Furthermore, the penetration of coarse particles by attaching the filters 6, 7 is prevented.

The present invention opens up a broad spectrum of operational capability, especially in dust-prone areas.
The inventive design, the advantages of fire detection can be used with multi-sensor intake detectors through the use of filters and convenient cleaning by means of the membrane insert in dust hazardous areas.
