- An assembly for singling sheet material, in particular bank notes, having a mechanical singling device (40) and a mechanical retaining device (41) as well as an adjusting device (30 to 36) for adjusting a singling gap (42) resulting between the singling device (40) and the retaining device (41),
characterized in that
the adjusting device (30 to 36) has adjusting means (30) formed in a shaft shape with a cam-shaped profile which permit adjustment within a given adjustment range, the cam-shaped profile of the adjusting means (30) being defined so as to result in a uniform adjustment of the singling gap (42) over the total adjustment range in relation to the adjustment of the adjusting means (30). - The assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the retaining device (41) is mounted in the adjusting device (30 to 36).
- A bank note processing machine, characterized by a sheet material singling assembly according to claim 1 or 2.
- The bank note processing machine according to claim 3, characterized in that the bank note processing machine counts and/or checks and/or sorts and/or destroys bank notes to be processed.
- The bank note processing machine according to claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the bank note processing machine automatically accepts bank notes of a deposit.
