  • This command transmitter communicates with one or more unrepresented command receivers and driving the garage door and the alarm.
  • An arrow A1 represents a voluntary or involuntary action of the user on one or more keys of the keyboard.
  • This support causes the activation of a test program 120 for determining whether the key or one of the keys actuated is a specific key, that is to say if one of the keys is not inhibited. If all the actuated keys are inhibited, then there is a loop back on the program 100. If, on the contrary, one of the actuated keys is a specific key, then a test program 140 is activated. This test makes it possible to determine whether the pressing of the key or of the keys corresponds to a specific sequence of supports such as a determined series of supports but which can also be summarized as a long press.
  • a program 160 is activated. This causes the issuer to issue the command corresponding to the specific key pressed.
  • the command transmitter can present for only specific key, the stop key 15. For security reasons, even brief support on this key commands the stop of the operation of the door.
  • a program 200 is activated. This causes the suppression of the inhibition, that is to say that all the keys of the keyboard become active.
  • Arrow A2 represents a new action on a key on the keyboard. This action causes the activation of a program 220 which then allows the transmission of the order corresponding to the actuated key.
  • a program 240 is activated. This program causes the keyboard keys to be inhibited except for the specific keys. This program is executed, either just after the sending of the order, or after a delay which possibly allows the sending of other commands to the order receiver. In the latter case, any new action on one of the keys of the keyboard extends all the time window during which the keys remain active.
  • the two variants can be combined, in the case where no key is mechanically protected: firstly, the specific stop key remains uninhibited and, secondly, a prolonged support or a particular sequence other keys makes the keys active. A program replacing the programs 120 and 140 then tests whether the stop key is pressed or if it is a particular support sequence. In the first case, there is sending of the command corresponding to the actuated key, in the second case, there is temporary suppression of the inhibition. If, the support does not correspond to any of the two previous cases, there is then looping on the program 100.
  • the action A1 can be applied only on certain keys or it will be ignored by the microcontroller.
  • the test program 120 becomes unnecessary and the test program 140 directs to the simple execution of the order if it is the stop key or to the temporary suppression of the inhibition if a particular sequence of support is recognized.
  • the program 100 then consists in causing the transition to sleep mode or the partial disconnection of the power supply.
  • the command transmitter may optionally have a grip sensor 18.
  • the suppression of the inhibition of the keys can in this case be caused by a signal from the grip sensor 18.
  • This sensor may be of the thermal, galvanic or capacitive type, or may still consist of a pressure sensor.
  • Patents are known US 6,330,457 and US6,246,862 , sensors used for a use strictly opposite to that which interests the invention since it is to invalidate the use of the keys of a phone when it goes into operational mode.
  • the sensor issues a signal that the command transmitter is held in the hand and not tossed in a pocket or bag, then this signal can be used to control the suppression of the key inhibit. Similarly, the disappearance of the signal can be used to cause the inhibition of the keys.
