Claims (15)

  1. A device for guiding a tympan (01) onto a cylinder (02) of a printing press with the aid of at least one rolling element (17), wherein a support (11) with a first end (12) and a second end (16) is provided, the first end (12) of the support (11) being connected to a holding means (08) spaced apart from the cylinder (02) and at least one rolling element (17) being arranged at the second end (16) of the support (11), an actuating means (19) which acts on the support (11) being provided between the holding means (08) and the support (11), characterised in that a plurality of supports (11) each with at least one rolling element (17) are arranged on the holding means (08) next to one another, the rolling elements (17) independently of each other, individually or in groups, being able to be placed in contact with the cylinder (02) or removed from contact therewith by actuating means (19) associated with their supports (11).
  2. A device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the support (11) is an elastically flexible member.
  3. A device according to Claim 2, characterised in that the support (11) is a spring leaf (11).
  4. A device according to Claim 2, characterised in that the actuating means (19) upon its actuation places the rolling element (17) in contact with the cylinder (02) or removes it from contact with the cylinder (02) by elastic bending of the support (11).
  5. A device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the second end (16) of the support (11) performs a pivoting movement directed towards the cylinder (02) by means of actuation of the actuating means (19).
  6. A device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the rolling element (17) placed in contact with the cylinder (02) guides a folded section (07) attached at one end of the tympan (01) into an opening (06) formed in the cylinder (02).
  7. A device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the support (11) has a surface and the holding means (08) has a surface, both surfaces being arranged facing each other and spaced apart by a distance (a).
  8. A device according to Claim 7, characterised in that the actuating means (19) is supported on both surfaces and when actuated increases the distance (a) therebetween.
  9. A device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the holding means (08) remains stationary relative to the cylinder (02) during the actuation of the actuating means (19).

  11. A device according to Claim 10, characterised in that the actuating means (19) is in the form of a hose (19).
  12. A device according to Claim 2, characterised in that the support (11) is in the form of a leaf.
  13. A device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the first end (12) of the support (11) is rigidly connected to the holding means (08).
  14. A device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the holding means (08) is in the form of a crossbar (08) extending transversely to the cylinder (02).
  15. A device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the rolling element (17) is in the form of a roller (17) or a cylinder (17).
