Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de couverture chauffante (10), destiné en particulier à un patient lors d'une opération chirurgicale, ce système comprenant au moins une couverture (11) comportant un élément chauffant. Ladite couverture (11) est recouverte d'une enveloppe de protection (15) amovible constituée d'une matière imperméable aux liquides. L'intérieur de cette enveloppe de protection (15) est constitué d'une couche mince (15'') imperméable aux liquides et l'extérieur est constitué de façon très avantageuse d'une couche de papier ou de tissu (15') reliée à cette couche mince (15''). Cette enveloppe de protection (15) permet d'empêcher que la couverture équipée de l'élément chauffant ne se salisse.
