In Fig. 1 sind zwei gegenseitig verriegelbare Schaltschütze 2a und 2b Seite an Seite dargestellt. Die beiden Schaltschütze 2a, 2b sind in üblicher Weise, beispielsweise wie in DE 195 48 480 C1 beschrieben, über klammerartige Verbindungselemente 5 auf gegenüberliegenden Seiten bündig miteinander verbunden. In der Nähe zu den Durchbrüchen 6a, 6b sind die Betätigungsorgane 8a, 8b mit kugelkalottenförmigen Aussparungen 12a bzw. 12 b ausgestattet. Die Aussparungen 12a, 12b sind zur benachbarten Verbindungsseitenwand 4a bzw. 4b geöffnet. Innerhalb der Durchbrüche 6a, 6b lagert ein Verriegelungselement 14 in Form eines kugelförmigen Wälzkörpers aus Metall, Keramik, Kunststoff oder glashaltigem Material.     - recesses (12a; 12b) in the actuating members (8a; 8b), the actuating member (8a or 8b respectively) of the closed contactor (2a or 2b respectively) forcing the interlock element (14) into the recess (12b or 12a respectively) of the other contactor (2b or 2a respectively),
    characterised in that
    - the recesses (12a; 12b) are of dome-shaped construction and are arranged in the immediate vicinity of the connecting side walls (4a; 4b) and

  4. An interlocking device according to claim 1, characterised in that the recesses (12a; 12b) take the form of barrel segments and the interlock element (14) takes the form of a barrel-shaped roller.
  5. An interlocking device according to claim 1, characterised in that the recesses (12a; 12b) take the form of disc segments and the interlock element (14) takes the form of a disc.
