Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Regeln des Drucks in einem Kraftstoffspeicher (200) einer Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere in einem Common-Rail-System. Im Stand der Technik ist es bekannt, verschiedene Regelmodi zur Regelung des Drucks in dem Kraftstoffspeicher vorzusehen. Die einzelnen Regelmodi unterscheiden sich dadurch, dass bei ihnen jeweils nur einer oder mehrere unabhängige Regelkreise zur Regelung des Drucks gleichzeitig aktiv sind. Eine Umschaltung zwischen den Regelmodi erfolgt üblicherweise aufgrund verschiedener Betriebszustände der Brennkraftmaschine. Um Störungen des Drucks in dem Kraftstoffspeicher während eines Umschaltvorganges zwischen zwei Regelmodi so gering wie möglich zu halten, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, die an dem Umschaltvorgang beteiligten Regelkreise aufzutrennen und den Regeleinrichtungen dieser Regelkreise anstatt einem Eingangssignal, welches eine Regelabweichung repräsentiert, jeweils ein für den jeweiligen Umschaltvorgang geeignetes vorbestimmtes Umschalt-Eingangssignal zuzuführen.

The individual control modes differ in that only one or more independent control circuits for controlling the pressure are active at the same time. A changeover between the control modes usually occurs due to various operating conditions of the internal combustion engine. In order to keep disturbances of the pressure in the fuel accumulator during a switching operation between two control modes as low as possible, it is provided according to the invention to separate the control circuits involved in the switching process and the control devices of these control circuits instead of an input signal representing a control deviation, one for each Switching to supply suitable predetermined switching input signal.
