Description

The present invention relates to a dispensing system according to the preamble of claim 1 for fluid substances. More particularly, it relates to a dispensing system comprising a syringe in the form of a cartridge having at least one spray booth provided with an injection piston and an attachment attached to the cartridge at the dispensing end thereof.

Such dispensing systems are already known in the art. For example, a double-barreled syringe is used, which comprises a cartridge of two axially parallel juxtaposed Spritzgutkammern with guided injection piston, to which a mixing tip is attached. The attachment is done so far by simply plugging or by a screw connection ("luer lock closure"), in which an internal or external thread is provided on the piston syringe, in which engages the provided with a complementary complementary mixing syringe.

So is out of the EP-A-0 408 331 a dispensing system consisting of a cartridge and an attachment for fluid substances, in which at the discharge end of the cartridge as an attachment a mixing tip or a closure can be attached. For secure holding of the attachment a snap closure is provided on this, which can be latched with locking recesses on the cartridge.

The US-B-6,394,314 discloses a fluid substance dispensing system also formed of a cartridge and an attachment in the form of a mixing tip or closure. The attachment is provided with a bayonet lock with which the attachment to the cartridge can be releasably attached.

In the EP-A-0 993 864 is described a discharge system for fluid substances, which is formed from a cartridge, an attachment and a locking clamp arranged between them, wherein the locking clip is latched to the cartridge.

However, known in the prior art solutions for attaching attachments to the syringe are associated with significant disadvantages. Thus, connectors are in the use of highly viscous fluids is not a secure connection, because they do not withstand a higher.Kolbendruck necessary here in general. Although this problem does not occur in the case of the luer-lock closures, there is a risk of contamination during setting-up and setting-down of the attachment due to smearing of outlet openings of the cartridge, especially in the case of highly viscous fluids.

The object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the known in the prior art solutions for attaching an attachment to a syringe. This object is achieved by the features of the independent claim. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.

According to the invention, there is shown a fluid substance delivery system comprising a syringe and an attachment attached thereto. The syringe comprises a cartridge having at least one spit chamber provided with an injection piston. If the cartridge has a plurality of spray-material chambers, then injection-molded pistons can either be inserted individually or jointly into the spray-material chambers or pulled out of them, the injection-molded pistons advantageously being connected together by a suitable connecting element in the latter case. Between the cartridge and the attachment a locking clip is arranged, to which the attachment is fastened by means of a releasable snap closure.

A characteristic feature of the invention provides that the attachment is secured by means of the releasable snap closure to the cartridge. The releasable snap closure can basically be designed in any way, as long as it is ensured that when snapping the snap closure any increase by elastic-plastic deformation of the cartridge and / or attachment snaps into any depression. For example, the snap closure in the form of an attached to the attachment sliding sleeve with inner collar, which is pushed over a mounted on the outside of the cartridge outer collar present. Advantageously, the latching of the snap closure is done with a vocal Einrastgeräusch so that the engagement of the operator can be controlled acoustically.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention according to the invention two hooks are formed on the attachment for its attachment to the cartridge by means of a snap closure, which are substantially diametrically opposed to each other. The hooks each engage in undercut recesses assigned to them, wherein each recess is arranged on a spring arm which is formed on the latching clip and which is elastically loaded when deflected out of its rest position. Thus, the hooks can get into engagement with the undercut depressions, this must first be overcome, the elastic spring force of the spring arms. If the hooks are in engagement with the undercut depressions, the elastic spring force of the spring arms likewise ensures that the hooks are secured against loosening.

The spring arms are designed in particular as sections of the latching clip fastened on the delivery-side end of the cartridge, whereby the cartridge and the latching clip can first be manufactured separately and subsequently joined. In an advantageous manner, conventional cartridges can be provided with the latching clamp carrying the spring arms for the snap closure, so that cartridges which have already been manufactured can also be retrofitted with a snap closure.

In an advantageous, very simple embodiment of the locking clip this is in the form of the outlet openings of the cartridge encompassing (part) rings before, which are connected to each other by at least one web-like element. The undercut depressions having spring arms protrude from the rings symmetrically from, in such a way that they can be converted into one another by turning the cartridge about its longitudinal axis by 180 °.

Furthermore, the spring arms can be provided for elastic deflection of the spring arms with pressure surfaces in the form of area-like widenings. By exerting a sufficient compressive force on the pressure surfaces, the hooks and the undercut depressions are displaced relative to one another under deflection of the spring arms, so that the hooks come out of engagement with the undercut depressions and the snap closure can be released. Advantageously, the pressure surfaces are substantially diametrically opposite each other, so that the snap closure can be solved in a particularly simple and practical way by simultaneously pressing the pressure surfaces, for example by the pressure surfaces with the thumb and forefinger of a user are brought together.

In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the attachment is designed such that it has no rotational symmetry with respect to axes of rotation in the longitudinal axis of the cartridge. For example, the attachment can in this sense have an oval or triangular cross-sectional area. This allows the attachment, especially in the presence of several Spritzgutkammern, in a certain ("right") way, d. H. in a specific assignment of spray booths to an internal structure of the attachment, are placed on the cartridge. A possible "wrong" placement of the attachments in the necessarily rotationally symmetrical in the prior art luer-lock closures can be avoided.

The attachment according to the invention may be a mixing tip, which receives the spray material of the spray-material chambers ejected by the injection piston under pressure through the outlet openings and releases it again in mixed form. Alternatively, it may be in the attachment according to the invention to act a cap for closing the outlet openings of Spritzgutkammern. The light application and removal of the closure cap made possible by the snap closure according to the invention makes it possible to store (optionally already used and partially) filled cartridges in a practical manner at a specific location, for example a refrigerator, and then reuse them without the risk of contamination existed.

The locking clip 3 surrounds by means of partial rings 12, the outlet openings 2 of the cartridge 1, wherein the partial rings 12 are connected by a web-like connecting element 13 with each other. Of the partial rings 12 protrude the spring arms 14, respectively in the direction of the other part ring from. The spring arms 14 can be transferred by rotation of the cartridge 1 about its longitudinal axis by 180 ° into each other. The spring arms are elastically loaded along the directions indicated by the arrows. The undercut depressions 15 are respectively arranged on the spring arms 14, into which hooks 9 of the mixing tip engage in the assembled state of the arrangement. Thus, the hooks 9 can engage in the undercut recesses 15, the spring arms must be deflected in a direction towards each other to elastic. In the engaged state ensures the elastic spring force of the spring arms for securing the snap connection. The spring arms 14 are above Be provided with diametrically opposite arranged pressure surfaces 16, through which with a sufficient pressure perpendicular to the axial direction of the cartridge, a deflection of the spring arms is effected, so that when a simultaneous actuation of the pressure surfaces, the hooks 9 come out of engagement with the undercut recesses 15 and the Snap closure can be solved.

Finally, FIG. 3 shows a closure cap 17 for the cartridge. The closure cap 17 is provided with sack sleeves 18 which, when joined to the cartridge 1, close the outlet openings 2 of the spray-material chambers. The closure cap 17 also has diametrically opposite hooks 19 which, when the closure cap is fastened to the cartridge, engage with the undercut depressions 15 of the spring arms 14 of the latching clip 3.
