Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kraftfahrzeugkühler, bestehend aus Flachrohren (1), Wellrippen (2) und zwei Rohrböden (3) mit einem umgeformten, umlaufenden Rand (8) und mit zum Querschnitt der Flachrohre (1) passenden Öffnungen (4), in denen die gegenüberliegenden Enden der Flachrohre (1) münden, wobei die Öffnungen (4) mit zu den Flachrohren (1) und den Wellrippen (2) weisenden Kragen (5) ausgebildet sind, an denen die Enden verlötet sind, und mit zwei Sammelkästen (6) aus Kunststoff, die an ihrem umlaufenden Randwulst (7) mit dem umgeformten Rand (8) der im wesentlichen ebenen Rohrböden (3) unter Hinzufügung einer Dichtung (9) mechanisch befestigt sind, wobei der umgeformte Rand (8) der Rohrböden (3) auf den Randwulst (7) der Sammelkästen (6) nach Art einer Verklammerung gebogen ist. Der Kraftfahrzeugkühler hat einen lediglich geringen Überstand des Sammelkastens über das Kühlnetz und andere Vorteile, wenn erfindungsgemäß erstens am Randwulst (7) der Sammelkästen (6) ein umlaufender Vorsprung (10) vorgesehen ist, der sich auf den ebenen Rohrböden (3) abstützt und der einen Raum (11) zur Aufnahme der Dichtung (9) zum umgeformten Rand (8) der Rohrböden (3) hin zur Verfügung stellt, wenn die Öffnungen (4) in den Rohrböden (3) an beiden Enden etwa am umlaufenden Vorsprung (10) an den Sammelkästen (6) enden, und wenn der Randwulst (7) der Sammelkästen (6) mit einer Ausnehmung (12) ausgebildet ist, in die der umgeformte Rand (8) der Rohrböden (3) eingreift.The invention relates to a motor vehicle radiator, comprising flat tubes (1), corrugated ribs (2) and two tubesheets (3) with a deformed peripheral edge (8) and with openings (4) matching the cross section of the flat tubes (1), in which opposite ends of the flat tubes (1) open, wherein the openings (4) with the flat tubes (1) and the corrugated fins (2) facing collar (5) are formed, at which the ends are soldered, and with two manifolds (6) plastic material mechanically fastened to its peripheral edge bead (7) with the deformed edge (8) of the substantially flat tubesheets (3) with the addition of a seal (9), the deformed edge (8) of the tubesheets (3) the edge bead (7) of the collecting boxes (6) is bent in the manner of a clamping.
