Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kraftfahrzeugkühler, bestehend aus Flachrohren (1), Wellrippen (2) und zwei Rohrböden (3) mit einem umgeformten, umlaufenden Rand (8) und mit zum Querschnitt der Flachrohre (1) passenden Öffnungen (4), in denen die gegenüberliegenden Enden der Flachrohre (1) münden, wobei die Öffnungen (4) mit zu den Flachrohren (1) und den Wellrippen (2) weisenden Kragen (5) ausgebildet sind, an denen die Enden verlötet sind, und mit zwei Sammelkästen (6) aus Kunststoff, die an ihrem umlaufenden Randwulst (7) mit dem umgeformten Rand (8) der im wesentlichen ebenen Rohrböden (3) unter Hinzufügung einer Dichtung (9) mechanisch befestigt sind, wobei der umgeformte Rand (8) der Rohrböden (3) auf den Randwulst (7) der Sammelkästen (6) nach Art einer Verklammerung gebogen ist.
