Abstract

The invention relates to a display unit (12) consisting of a stand (10), at least one vertical compartment (98) which is open towards the front and has shelf elements which rise towards the rear, and a base (48). Said stand (10) is provided with inserted trays (44). The shelf elements (14, 26, 28) comprise openings (30, 36), grooves (34) and/or shelf edges (32, 38, 39) for receiving insertable means (42, 92) pertaining to said trays (44) and used to stop the same and stabilise the stand (10). Both the stand (10) and preferably the trays (44) consist of a folded blank or stamping of cardboard which is either corrugated or not.

Description

The invention relates to a display of a stand according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

More recently, efforts have been made increasingly for areal cargo to not only transport, store and offer them in a sales rack, but also to place them in the customer's field of vision through representative and rational displays. These displays should be suitable at the same time by simple additional measures to transport the flat-shaped cargo.

Chocolate bars, as an example of flat-shaped piece goods, are usually offered in a range carton, the panels are arranged in subjects horizontally or vertically. In one case, as in the other case, the customer takes the desired product from him according to his needs. Thus, the individual stacks offer a very different height or depth. The store staff must, if the overall impression of the customer is positive, constantly provide for refilling and an orderly presentation, which is associated with significant additional costs. Especially with a large distributor, a display must solve all requirements in an optimal way.

In US 5322172 A is a corrugated cardboard cut out or punched out foldable display with also foldable trays, as the shelf-box-like module elements are called, disclosed for receiving flat piece goods. The two uppermost, integrally formed trays are placed over a trapezoidal in cross-section saddle and therefore formed on both sides sloping backwards. The underlying, also cuboid-shaped trays are arranged horizontally on both sides of the stand above and attached to the side walls.

A groundbreaking improvement is described in WO 03/003881 (PCT / CH02 / 00010). The at least in the edge region parallelepiped-shaped trays for about vertical stacking and presenting flat-shaped cargo have at least one angle deviating from 90 ° in each corner. In the side or intermediate walls of the stator punching slots for receiving plug connections are recessed at different levels, which serve the oblique introduction and fixing of the trays, wherein the end wall and the side surfaces of the trays are approximately perpendicular. As a result, when removing a piece goods slip the other cargo automatically forward and always remain in about vertical position.

The present invention has for its object to improve a stand with front-to-back rising trays of the type mentioned above and in particular to simplify.

The object is achieved according to the invention by the characterizing part of patent claim 1. Special and further developing embodiments of the displays are the subject of dependent claims.

The number and arrangement of the vertical chambers in a display is in principle arbitrary, it is determined by practical and visual factors. To improve the stability, several displays with a chamber can be juxtaposed and releasably connected together by means known per se. Displays with multiple chambers have to increase the stability, eg. B. a common back wall or folded partitions of double wall thickness.

For reasons of production technology, the smallest possible number of standard shapes and dimensions are sought for the trays, and the displays are adapted accordingly.

The displays in turn should preferably be dimensioned such that they have a total of standard pallets with respect to their base area, in smaller embodiments half or a quarter thereof. The stand or the frame can also be designed so that on the front and back of a viewed from above "zigzag" front side of the display can be formed, which is well visible from all sides.

As a rule, a pedestal is connected to the stand, for the transport and storage of the displays only, as is known, a stülper, d. H. an adapted hood, down to the base or beyond this applied and optionally fixed with a strapping.

The displays according to the invention with the inserted trays are suitable for transporting, stacking, presenting and removing flat-form piece goods of all kinds, for example chocolate bars, compact discs (CD), books and at least semi-rigid bags.

The stand and the trays made of a folded blank or stamping made of corrugated board or cardboard have adapted to the requirements of rigidity, mechanical and chemical resistance if necessary. The vertical end wall of the chamber (s) of the display is largely open so that the trays can be inserted and removed as needed. Furthermore, the area-shaped piece goods should be clearly visible to the consumer. The front wall of the stand therefore consists of relatively narrow connecting webs, which ensure sufficient stability.

In a stand made of a folded blank or stamped a locking tab is formed above the connecting webs via a fold line, which is rectangular and preferably extends over the entire width of the chamber of the display. Is the locking tab in the interior of the chamber folded over, created by the preferably flush punched edges improved stabilization, which is the greater, the deeper the locking tabs protrude into the chamber interior. This stabilization can be further improved by locking devices shown in more detail in the drawing. A blank drawing of a stand 10 for a display 12 (FIGS. 9, 10) essentially shows a rear wall 14, two side walls 16, 18 and an end wall formed only by four connecting webs 20, which shell parts are delimited by fold lines 15, 17 and 19. Along the side wall 18, a glue flap 22 is formed over a fold line 21.

At each connecting web 20, a fold-over pocket 24 is provided at the bottom over a double fold line 23, which is folded over by 180 ° and glued to the relevant connecting web 20, which means a considerable reinforcement.

About an upper fold line 25 with each connecting web 20, a locking tab 26, 28 is formed on the uppermost connecting web 20, a wide locking tab 26 at the remaining connecting webs 20, a narrow locking tab 28. Essential to the invention are the latching lugs 92 mentioned and the detent lugs 42, which are offset by the rear walls 74, 76.

For the sake of completeness, it should also be mentioned that the end wall 90 serves a décolleté 94 protruding into the bottom surface 82 for better gripping and for better visualization of the contents. A recess 96 serves to stack the trays 44 outside of the stand 10, wherein the latching nose 92 engages in this recess.

The trays 44 are pure cartons without adhesive flap.

In the following FIGS. 7 to 10 folded stands 10, pedestals, 48 and trays 44 are shown in perspective view. The stand 10 is inserted into the socket 48 and locked.
