Fig. 1 zeigt in perspektivischer Ansicht eine beispielsweise in einem Linienbus eingebaute FuƟschutzleiste 2. Die FuƟschutzleiste ist am Rand des Bodens 4 des Fahrgastraums eingebaut und wird gerade von einem Fahrgast betreten, der seinen linken FuƟ bzw. Schuh 6 auf die FuƟschutzleiste 2 aufsetzt. Diese ist zwischen den beiden TĆ¼rportalen eingebaut und umfaƟt eine Trittleiste 12 aus geeignetem Metall, z.B. Aluminium, die am AuƟenende zu einem vorderen Schenkel 14 umgebogen ist, der zur Halterung und zum Schutz der Bodenkante und -schwelle auf herkƶmmliche Weise dient. Auf der Oberseite weist die Trittleiste 12 zwei sich in LƤngsrichtung erstreckende parallele vertiefte Bereiche 16, 18 auf, in denen die beiden Leistenprofile 8, 10 aufgenommen sind, das heiƟt die vertieften Bereiche 16, 18 dienen als Gegenprofil fĆ¼r das jeweilige Leistenprofil, wie Fig. 2 mehr im einzelnen zeigt. Die Gestalt der Leistenprofile geht deutlicher aus der Ansicht von Fig. 3 hervor. Diese sind elastisch aus Gummimaterial hergestellt und nach oben gewƶlbt ausgefĆ¼hrt, wobei sich im Inneren ein Hohlraum befindet. Die Oberseite der Leistenprofile ist profiliert, so daƟ sie eine gute Rutschsicherung darstellen. Tritt ein Fahrgast an beliebiger Stelle auf das Leistenprofil 8, wird die Oberseite des Leistenprofils nach unten gedrĆ¼ckt, so daƟ es zu einem Kontakt der Kontaktleiste 20 kommt und dieser bleibt bestehen, solange das Leistenprofil eingedrĆ¼ckt bleibt. Das SchlieƟsignal der elektrischen Kontaktleiste 20 wird Ć¼ber das Kabel 28 zum SchaltgerƤt gefĆ¼hrt, das dann eine entsprechende TĆ¼rbetƤtigung oder eine Verzƶgerung der TĆ¼rbetƤtigung auslƶst. Der Schlauch 40 verbindet somit die luftdicht abgeschlossene Hohlkammer 29 mit einem elektropneumatischen Wandler oder Ventil (z.B. Druckwellenschalter). Durch geeignete MaƟnahmen ist der Druckwellenschalter so ausgefĆ¼hrt, daƟ wƤhrend des Betretens des betreffenden Leistenprofils ein Dauersignal an die TĆ¼ransteuerung abgegeben wird.
