Claims (1)

  1. Key-operated multiple bolt lock as a modular system with a variable mandrel extent (D) and a variable distance (E) from the lock cylinder (2) and latch drive nut (3), comprising a gearing and gear wheels (4, 5, 6, 7, 8) and a toothed push rod (13, 14) along a face plate (15), or toothed push rod connection slide (12, 12') and comprising a latch drive nut (3) and latch bolt (19) and preferably comprising a change lever (17) between a gear wheel (8) and the latch bolt (19) in a lock housing, a bearing plate (1) receiving the lock cylinder (2) and gear wheels (4, 5, 6, 7, 8) being provided, in particular as a zinc die casting component, characterised in that
    - the bearing plate (1), as a one-piece mould, at least also comprises the bearing arrangement for the latch drive nut (3), for the change lever (17) and the mechanics including the spring (22) for the latch bolt (19) and substantially has a length (height), which corresponds to the length (height) of the lock housing, the modular system containing bearing plates (1) with different distances (E) between the lock cylinder (2) and latch drive nut (3),
    - in that the outer flat side of the bearing plate (1) is itself part of the lock housing
    - in that the components (drive parts) positioned on the bearing plate (1) are covered, in particular for forming a counter bearing of a lock cover (25), which either lies merely over the bearing plate (1) or extends up to the face plate (15) and
    - in that provided between the bearing plate (1) and face plate (15) is a spacer (24, 24'), as a flat intermediate lock casing ("ring") in which the push rod connection slide (12, 12'), the latch bolt shaft (20) and optionally a bolt shaft (23) are displaceably guided and wherein the spacer (24, 24'), together with the adjacent bearing plate (1), determine the depth and therefore the mandrel extent (D) of the multiple bolt lock.
