Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a radiator, in particular a DIN exchange - flat radiator with an integrated valve for connection to a pipeline network.
Radiators, in particular flat radiators, are now manufactured in dimensions that relate to the radiator height and the radiator length. The overall depth results from the type and the distance from the wall. The connecting parts on the radiators for connection to a pipeline network are related to the overall height and are mostly covered by the radiator front panel. They are therefore usually not beyond the height of the radiator. This results in the fact that the hub distance (axial dimension) between the connection parts is smaller than the overall height of the radiator.
In contrast to this, the hub distance (axial dimension) between the connecting parts and the radiator length were used as a reference variable in the case of steel and cast iron radiators that were previously used. This has the disadvantage that a simple replacement of previously used radiators, for. B. by more modern flat radiators, is not easily possible. To enable easy replacement, the connection dimensions of flat radiators are adapted to those of the previously used radiators.
The special connecting pieces used here can be screwed-in variants such as S-shaped or Z-shaped individual screw-in nipples with different seals, the screws usually being designed as hollow screws. When delivered, this variant can be pre-assembled or supplied as an accessory pack.
For this purpose, for example, DE 297 01 876 U1 describes a flat radiator with a specially developed connection angle piece for bridging the smaller hub spacing of the flat radiator and in DE 101 06 227 A1 shows a special hub spacer for the exchange of radiators with different center or hub distances.
However, permanently welded-in variants or so-called “special radiators” are also known, these having specially shaped connecting nipples that are welded in with resistance welding machines. Additional magazines or conversion or set-up measures are then required on the automatic welding lines for radiator production. This is associated with relatively high investments and poor machine utilization. For this reason, this variant usually only replaces one nipple of the connecting parts attached to the overall height with a differently shaped connecting piece. With "special radiators" only compact radiators or valve radiators without a valve are currently used (valve is dismantled and the socket is used for connection to the pipe network).
The object of the present invention is therefore to develop a valve radiator that the o. G. Overcomes disadvantages of the prior art with regard to the replacement of radiators with different reference values with regard to the connection dimensions.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are contained in
Accordingly, the invention includes a radiator, in particular flat radiators with threaded sockets on the side and with an integrated valve, a connecting tube being arranged between the upper threaded sockets and the threaded sleeve opposite the valve seat being provided for connection to the heating medium flow. The heating medium flow is only in that running to the valve Connection tube allows. The hub spacing of the radiator corresponds to the hub spacing of a radiator. A radiator can thus be replaced by the flat radiator according to the invention without changes to the pipe network.
It is particularly advantageous that the threaded sleeve opposite the valve seat in each case has a stopper for connection to the heating medium flow, which allows the heating medium flow only into the connecting pipe running to the valve.
According to a further feature of the invention, the threaded sleeve opposite the valve seat for connection to the heating medium flow is provided with blind washers which only allow the heating medium flow into the connecting pipe running to the valve. The radiator according to the invention can also be realized as a one-day or multi-day radiator with the same or alternate connection, threaded sleeves not required for the heating medium being passed through can be closed with a blind plug. According to a preferred feature, the valve is preassembled in the radiator, and can also be mounted on the opposite side using a plug.
The radiator according to the invention can also be used as a normal compact radiator.
Further advantages of the invention result from the exemplary embodiments described below with reference to the figures shown in the drawings.

Previously used DIN radiators are often installed in old apartments. A simple exchange with modern flat radiators with an integrated valve is not possible due to the different reference sizes with regard to the connection dimensions, since today the radiator height and length are used as reference sizes. The connecting parts on these radiators for connection to the pipeline network are therefore related to the overall height of the radiator. Due to the features according to the invention, the connecting dimensions of modern flat radiators with or without integrated valve set can be adapted to those of the previously used DIN radiators in a surprisingly simple manner.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, FIG. 2 shows a flat radiator with an equilateral connection and the lateral threaded
In a special embodiment of the invention, FIG. 3 shows a radiator designed as a normal standard compact radiator with a connecting
