Abstract

Cold rolling a metallic strip wound by a coil comprises detecting unreliably large fluctuations of hardness of the strip, in which the strip thickness, rolling force and strip tension of the strip and/or fluctuations of the exiting strip are acquired using cross-correlation or Fast-Fourier transformation or with the aid of error parameter detectors depending on rotatory harmonic fluctuations.
