Auch sollen Materialeigenschaften wie Porosität oder Reibwerte problemlos einstellbar sein. Dabei ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass der Querschnitt des Gesenks 28 derart ist, dass sich eine Mehrschichtplatte 38 ergibt, die nach Entfernen aus dem Gesenk 28 und Wärmebehandlung in gewohnter Weise in Abschnitte 40, 42, 44 unterteilt wird, deren Abmessungen denen der herzustellenden Mehrschicht-Kohlebürsten entsprechen.
