Abstract

The package has four lateral walls, and a base made from a single plate comprising four panels (2-5) forming the lateral walls, where the panels are extended by sheets on both sides. The two lateral walls are doubled by two cardboard layers, each on a part of their height. The two sheets have flaps (31R, 51R), each covering half of the base.

Description

The present invention relates to a bottle packaging made in corrugated cardboard or other similar material. In particular, it aims at packaging for mailing.

Glass bottles are fragile objects that must benefit from a particularly neat protection when mailed or other means of public transport. Packages must be able to be handled like other packages without the requirement of the operators of the transport organization extra attention.

Means providing enhanced protection of the bottles or bottles against shocks. This is for example wedges the purpose of immobilizing objects and preventing them from entering contact between them or the walls. The holds must also allow to absorb energy from shocks.

The plaintiff has set itself the goal of producing a packaging for bottle offering a type of protection able to be sent by post.

The applicant has also set itself the goal of developing a packaging concept that can be applied to the production of crates for the transport respectively of one, two, three or six bottles.

The plaintiff has also set itself the goal of achieving a packaging that does not require the assembly of several separate parts by the user. In particular, the aim is for packaging that is builds from a single plate of cardboard or other material.

The invention makes it possible to achieve these objectives. The packaging of the invention for at least one corrugated bottle or similar material comprising four side walls and a bottom made from a single plate having at least four panels forming the side walls and shutters extending on one of said panels for the bottom, is characterized in that two opposite first side walls are doubled each on a part of their height by two layers of cardboard formed by panels of at least one first component constituting the bottom.

In particular the doubling panels are formed by a double folding to 180 ° of two first parts. These are shutters extending the panels forming the first two side walls. Advantageously, both first flaps include a flap each covering a half of the bottom of the package, to form at least one of the bottom walls.

Corrugated cardboard is conventional for this type of packaging. It could be a single or double corrugated cardboard with a cover sheet on both sides preferably.

It was surprisingly found that there was excellent resistance to shocks by this internal locking means made by folding accordion and the folding in the walls, the shutters used to form the bottom.

According to another characteristic, the background consists of flaps extending the four panels forming the side walls. We thus also realizes damping means against shocks oriented along the axis of the bottle.

According to another characteristic, the package comprises shutters forming a cover, at least one of said flaps being arranged for setting from the neck of the bottle.

According to a particular embodiment for packaging to a single bottle, the side walls include a fifth panel doubling one of the side walls.

According to another embodiment, for at least two bottles the bottom includes at least one second flap extended by a flap longitudinal partition wall between the two bottles.

Especially for six bottles, the packaging includes a fifth panel of the width of a half-side wall and a sixth panel forming a dividing wall of bottles adjacent to the fifth sign.

The invention thus makes it possible to decline a range of packagings from one to six bottles each time using a single cardboard plate. No only we make the storage of the packaging for different references easier, but the user quickly knows how to move from a model to the other, assembly procedures being common.

FIG. 1 shows a corrugated board suitably cut and marked to make a package a bottle according to the invention. It is a corrugated cardboard such as use it for example for parcels to send by post. Can also use a honeycomb-type plastic plate that is replaces cardboard to make packaging.

The packaging being thus put in volume one can place the bottle with inside and close by folding the flaps. We start by stalling bottle by sliding the flap 42 with its notch on the neck of the bottle. The flaps of the other panels provide wedging in the direction longitudinal of the bottle. As a result, it is firmly inside. The double thickness on the walls 31 and 51 ensures both a cushioning and shock absorption.

Such packaging has proved very effective in case of a fall. Launched floor at the top of a staircase, the bottle was not damaged.

Figure 2 shows a package similar to the previous one adapted to house three bottles.

It comprises four panels 102, 103, 104 and 105. The panels 103 and 105 are wide enough to hold three bottles side by side. On the side, we find the shutters 121, 131, 141 and 151, and the other shutters 121, 132, 142 and 152.

As in the example of Figure 1, the flaps 131 and 151 comprise two panels 131A 131B and 151A 152B, separated by a "slit" line, as well as flaps 131R and 151R. The flap includes a tab of 151F attachment

This achievement differs from the previous one by the shutters 121 and 141 which are extended by a flap 121R and 141R whose length is, at most, as large as panels 102 and 104.

The box comprises 6 adjacent panels successively numbered 602, 603, 604, 605, 606 and 607. On one side they are extended by the flaps 621, 631, 641, 651, 661 and 671.

The width of the two panels 602 and 606 is substantially half of that of the panel 604 and corresponds to that of a bottle. The signs 603, 605 and 607 are as wide as three bottles

The function of these panes is as follows. Shutters 631 and 651 are separated in the length direction by a "slit" line as in both previous embodiments, in two panels 631A, 631B and 651A and 651B. There are also flaps 631R and 651R.

The flaps 621, 641 and 661 each comprise a flap 621R, 641R and 661 to form the transverse separations to that formed by the panel 607.

The panels also each include the numbered shutters successively 622, 632, 642, 652, 662 and 672. The shutters 632 and 672 are cut with notches to accommodate bottlenecks.

The assembly is as shown in Figure 4:
