Abstract

To produce ribbons with longitudinal elasticity, the initial wefts (2) are laid through the knitted wales (8) with their change-over points (6) at a gap from the edge of the ribbon (4). The standing threads are under the first wefts, apart from those at the change-over points over the wefts. A second set of wefts is laid with all the standing threads under them. The ribbon is heated and shrunk, so that the change-over points of the first wefts are pushed down by the second wefts, to be covered by strips of an elastomer mass.

Description

The present invention relates to a method for producing a longitudinally elastic knitted ribbon with elastic standing threads, a first weft thread, at least one second weft and rows of wales.

So-called adhesive tapes with lace optics on the market for attachment and. a. on fine stockings tend to, without special measures to increase the lateral stiffness Wear to curl up or slide off the wearer's leg. To prevent slipping and to counteract the lack of transverse stiffness, you have to cross the standing threads running weft threads woven, whereby the transverse stiffness due to the in Usually quite stiff wefts were raised. However, you have a big one at the same time Disadvantage traded, namely such that the weft reversals of the stiffening weft from the tape on the "inside" side of the tape, ie the side that is on the skin of the The wearer comes to lie, came out and stabbed the wearer's skin or the skin at least very unpleasantly irritating.

The present invention has for its object a method for producing a propose longitudinally elastic knitted tape with elastic standing threads, in which the above Disadvantages discussed from the prior art no longer occur.

The object is achieved with a method according to claim 1. In that the weft reversal points the first weft thread below the wales crossing them and / or standing threads, the weft reversal points are created by a special type of binding (Center shot technique, see DE patent DE 196 21 382 C2) to the lower outside of the Band pressed. When it comes to finishing, the shrinking, especially pre-shrunk or less shrinking, first weft essentially no more or at least less than the at least one second thread of the ribbon. In the last process step according to the invention d these weft reversal points are then applied by applying an elastomer compound completely covered and can therefore no longer give rise to any irritation Represent the wearer.

In an advantageous development of the method according to the invention can also achieve rounder reversals of the first weft, which the Shot reversal points also take their "sharpness". With that you can leave them out very pointed weft reversal points of the stiffening weft thread known from the prior art avoid. Instead, the weft reversals made with this procedure become much rounder, so from the start they do not have the tendency like a point To work needles. Because the weft reversals in the elastomer mass as if cast are embedded, the associated weft threads act like clamped springs and carry thus a considerable increase in the transverse rigidity of the belt.

In a further advantageous development of the invention, the tape with a first Weft thread made from a monofilament or a monofilament-like yarn. This increases the transverse rigidity of the method according to the invention advantageously knitted band considerably.

In a further advantageous development of the method according to the invention, it is possible to to coat the band with diamond-shaped ornaments made of an elastomer material.

Silicone is advantageously used for the use of an elastomer composition according to the invention used, which is due to its aging resistance and skin tolerance excellent for use and in carrying the method of the invention manufactured tape is suitable.

For a better understanding of the invention, it is briefly described below using an exemplary embodiment with the aid of a drawing.
Figure 1
shows schematically a section of a tape known from the prior art with wales and weft thread running in relation to them for transverse stiffening of the tape in plan view.
Figure 2
shows schematically a section of a tape produced by the method according to the invention analogous to the illustration according to FIG. 1, but with rounder weft reversal points which result from the fact that after each shot a shot has been "inserted".
Figure 3
shows the essential parts of a tape produced by the method according to the invention in cross section.
Figure 4
shows the section according to Figure 3, but with additional elastomeric material applied to the tape.
Figure 5
shows a section of a tape produced by the method according to the invention from below with diamond-shaped ornaments made of an elastomer material.

Es ist zu erkennen, daß nach jeder - quer zu den Maschenstäbchen liegenden - Maschenreihe ein Schuß rechts/links bzw. ein Schuß links/rechts verlegt ist.FIG. 1 shows a highly schematic section of a method according to the State of the art manufactured tape 4s shown, with wales 8 can be seen are, which are "surrounded" by a first weft thread 2. (Of course there are left and on the right next to the example of a wale, 8 further wales, the stitches or their stitches are only indicated with dots for the sake of clarity.) It it can be seen that after each row of stitches - transverse to the wales - Right / left shot or left / right shot is misplaced.

Figure 2 shows a representation similar to Figure 1, but with the difference that the Weft thread laying is regulated in such a way that with a sequence of binding steps: first Left shot, second shot stopped, third shot right, fourth shot stopped, is worked. As can easily be seen in FIG. 2, this results from this Advantageously rounder weft reversals 6. The weft reversals shown in Figure 2 are greatly exaggerated and are at the extreme edge of this representation of the tape.

Figure 3 schematically shows an illustration in the transverse to the longitudinal direction through the belt is cut. The tape runs out of the drawing plane. The bottom of the band is like 3 shows the side of the tape pointing downwards from the viewer. Figure 3 shows standing threads 14 and 14a running along the tape, the for a better overview Meshes are not shown. The standing threads 14 are below only up to one Distance from the edge of the tape entered weft 2, using the Center weft technique (see DE 196 21 382 C2) the weft reversals 6 of the weft 2, as shown in Figure 3, are pressed down and thus on the lower Outside of the band can be seen, an additional at least second - at least in the region of the weft reversal points - inserted weft thread 10, the standing threads 14a additionally pushes towards the bottom of the band 4. The at least second weft thread must be used 10 but not - as shown in Fig. 3 and 4 - over the entire width of the belt run.

Durch die Elastomermasse, welche eine in Bandlängsrichtung aufgebrachte Haftbeschichtung für das Band darstellt, werden die Schußumkehrstellen 6 vollständig eingebettet und damit "unschädlich gemacht".Figure 4 shows the tape produced by the method according to the invention after application an elastomer composition 12 in an area in which the weft reversal points 6 on the underside of the band 4 step out of the band. Due to the elastomer mass, which is a Longitudinal tape applied adhesive coating for the tape, the weft reversals 6 completely embedded and thus "rendered harmless".

Figure 5 finally shows the underside of a manufactured according to the inventive method Band 4 in which, in an exemplary manner, a diamond-shaped coating, is preferably made of silicone (this representation does not fall to scale with the previous representations). Now, according to the invention, the elastomer mass coating on the underside in the area of the weft reversal points 6, which are shown in FIG 5 are shown as examples - in fact, they are no longer recognizable, since they are from the Elastomeric mass to be completely covered - applied, one is suitable for one Top adhesive tape desired anti-slip coating, as shown here in the form of wavy lines to advantageously cover the entire range with an adhesive coating provided without the tape has become closed and airtight. In the Execution of the coating according to FIG. 5 can be network-like over the bandwidth interconnected diamond coating, because the straight and wavy lines applied elastomer mass strands can fuse together. Of course all kinds of other ornaments for the coating can be found to create a net-like To form structure without the tape 4 by applying the adhesive coating over the entire surface becomes impermeable to air and thus the wearing comfort is lowered significantly.
