Einfache Verfahren zeigen generell nur eine graduelle Erschwernis aber keinen vollwertigen Schutz. Das ist darin begründet, dass beim Verdrehen des Zylinderkernes 2 gegen das Zylindergehäuse 1 in den Zuhaltungsbohrungen 3 eine Öffnung A ( Öffnung zwischen versetzten Kem und Gehäusebohrung ) - siehe Fig. 3 - des ( der ) blockierenden Stiftes ( Stifte ) verbleibt, die auch bei allen anderen in dieser Reihe befindlichen Bohrungen gleich ist.
Die Öffnung A entsteht durch Blockieren der Kerndrehung durch die Gehäusestifte 6 mit dem Durchmesser a - siehe Fig. 2 -.
