Abstract

The assembly to fit a printing plate (01) at the cylinder (02) of a printing press, and especially a rotary offset printing press, has at least one limit stop (14) and at least one roller (17). The limit stop is in front of the roller in the fitting direction (M) of the plate. The limit stop is angled towards the cylinder. The plate has a bent edge (07) at its leading end, so that the leading end butts against the limit stop with the bent edge against the cylinder surface (04).
