Derartige Sicherheitsleisten sind aus dem Stand der Technik bekannt, beispielsweise aus der DE 196 47 720 A1 . Bei der dort beschriebenen Sicherheitsleiste wird die Kontaktkette von einer Vielzahl von Kontaktelementen gebildet, welche längs der Sicherheitsleiste mittels einer Führungsvorrichtung aneinandergereiht sind und durch eine axiale Vorspannung längs der Sicherheitsleiste zusammengedrückt werden, wobei die Vorspannung durch manschettenförmige Schlauchstücke erzeugt wird, welche in alternierender Folge jeweils zwei zueinander benachbarte Kontaktelemente übergreifen und die Kontaktzonen dieser Kontaktelemente gegeneinander drücken. Diese Sicherheitsleiste kann kundenseitig auf einfache Art zusammengesetzt und den spezifischen Kundenbedürfnissen insbesondere hinsichtlich der Länge der Sicherheitsleiste individuell angepaßt werden, indem eine geeignete Anzahl von Kontaktelementen in einer Reihe angeordnet und mittels der Schlauchstücke miteinander verbunden werden. Die so gebildete Kontaktelementekette wird dann anschließend in einen elastischen Schlauch eingeführt, dessen stirnseitige Öffnungen schließlich durch Verschlußelemente abgedichtet werden, um die Schalteinrichtung vor Umwelteinflüssen und Feuchtigkeit zu schützen. Hierzu werden die Verschlußelemente mit dem elastischen Schlauch verklebt oder vulkanisiert. Dies hat sich als nachteilig erwiesen, weil nachträgliche Änderungen, insbesondere ein Kürzen der Sicherheitsleiste, nicht mehr möglich ist. Weiterhin hat es sich als problematisch erwiesen, Maßnahmen vorzusehen, welche den an den individuellen Bedürfnissen des Kunden ausgerichteten Zusammenbau einer Sicherheitsleiste in beliebiger Länge ermöglichen. Diese Ausführungsform der vorliegenden Erfindung hat den zusätzlichen Effekt, daß die Stärke der Federspannung und damit die Vorspannung zwischen den einzelnen Kontaktelementen über eine Verlängerung bzw. In dem in Figur 3B dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel weisen die Distanzhülsen 6a und 6b statt einem Gewinde korrespondierende Rastelemente 21, 22 auf. Die Distanzhülsen 6a und 6b sind hierbei durch Eingreifen dieser Rastelemente 21, 22 ineinander verschiebbar. Das in Figur 3C gezeigte Ausfiihrungsbeispiel des Distanzstücks 6 entspricht im Wesentlichen dem in Figur 2 dargestellten Ausfiihrungsbeispiel, mit dem Unterschied, dass auch die innere Distanzhülse 6b mehrere in Längsrichtung der Hülse voneinander beabstandete Bohrungen 23 im Zylindermantel aufweist. In diese Bohrungen wird eine durch die Bohrung 15 in der äußeren Distanzhülse 6 greifende Madenschraube eingedreht, wodurch die beiden Distanzhülsen 6a und 6b miteinander befestigt und ihrer Lage zueinander fixiert werden. Alternativ zu einer Madenschraube kann die Fixierung der beiden Distanzhülsen 6a und 6b auch durch einen Stift 24 realisiert werden, der durch die Bohrung 15 im Zylindermantel der äußeren Distanzhülse und durch eine Bohrung 23 der inneren Distanzhülse gesteckt wird, wie in Figur 3D gezeigt.In the Figures 3A - 3E different embodiments of the spacer 6 are shown according to the invention.
