Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un container comportant une ceinture, réalisée à partir d'une plaque de carton ou autre matériau similaire sur laquelle on a délimité par des lignes de pliage (11, 21, 31) parallèles entre elles, les panneaux (10, 20, 30, 40) formant la ceinture.
Selon l'invention, le premier panneau (10) comporte des tenons (12) sur son bord libre (13) parallèle aux dites lignes de pliage (11, 21, 31) et le dernier panneau (40) est prolongé par un panneau de verrouillage (50) le long d'une dernière ligne de pliage (41) parallèle au bord libre (13), lesdits tenons étant logés dans des encoches ménagées le long de cette dernière ligne (41), et le panneau de verrouillage étant appliqué contre le premier panneau (10).

Description

La présente invention se rapporte au domaine de l'emballage et en particulier des containers ou caisses réalisés à partir d'une plaque de carton ou autre matériau semi-rigide.
Pour former un container à partir d'une plaque de carton convenablement découpée et rainée, on enroule la plaque autour des lignes de pliage, et on fixe les panneaux d'extrémité l'un à l'autre. Un moyen simple pour réaliser cette ceinture consiste à prévoir une languette sur l'un des panneaux d'extrémité puis à fixer cette languette le long du bord libre de l'autre panneau. La fixation est le plus souvent assurée par agrafage ou bien par collage. Cette opération n'est pas faite manuellement mais au moyen d'un équipement approprié.
L'installation d'un tel équipement implique un coût. Ce coût apparaít parfois non justifié en raison de la faible taille de l'unité de fabrication. Cependant, réaliser l'agrafage ou le collage par des moyens manuels n'est pas satisfaisant pour autant.
L'invention a donc pour objet un moyen autorisant la mise en volume manuelle de la ceinture d'un container en carton ou autre matériau similaire sans nécessiter la fixation des bords par collage ou par agrafage tout en présentant une résistance à l'éclatement suffisante.
Selon l'invention, le container comportant une ceinture, réalisée à partir d'une plaque de carton ou autre matériau similaire sur laquelle on a délimité par des lignes de pliage les panneaux formant la ceinture, est caractérisé par le fait que le premier panneau comporte des tenons sur son bord libre parallèle aux dites lignes de pliage, et le dernier panneau est prolongé par un panneau de verrouillage le long d'une dernière ligne de pliage parallèle aux dites lignes de pliage, des encoches étant ménagées le long de ladite dernière ligne pour loger les tenons, le panneau de verrouillage étant appliqué contre le premier panneau.
Grâce à la solution de l'invention, au prix d'une faible consommation de matière, on réalise un verrouillage par des moyens mécaniques simples et robustes sans rapporter d'autre matière. Par le panneau de verrouillage, on reporte les efforts internes exercés par la charge sur les deux dièdres constituant les angles du container et non sur les tenons ni sur le panneau.
La présente invention présente un intérêt particulier pour les containers munis de patins sur lesquels ils reposent et formant en quelque sorte des containers palettes.
En particulier, les patins sont formés par enroulement de premiers volets prolongeant latéralement, c'est à dire perpendiculairement à la direction des lignes de pliage, deux des panneaux. Pour un container à quatre panneaux, il s'agit de préférence des premier et troisième panneaux.
Selon un mode de réalisation particulier, le fond est constitué d'au moins un deuxième volet prolongeant latéralement un panneau autre que ceux des premiers volets. Pour un container à quatre panneaux, il s'agit de préférence des deuxième et/ou quatrième panneaux. Les premiers volets formant les dits patins comportent des languettes coopérant avec des encoches ménagées dans le dit deuxième volet pour verrouiller le fond du container.
Cette solution présente un intérêt particulier car le patin, par sa languette de fixation aux volets de fond, contribue au verrouillage de la ceinture.
Selon une autre caractéristique le container comporte au moins un troisième volet pour former le couvercle.
D'autres caractéristiques et avantages apparaítront à la lecture de la description qui suit, d'un mode de réalisation non limitatif de l'invention, se référant aux dessins annexés sur lesquels :
  • La figure 1 représente une plaque de carton découpée et rainée conformément à l'invention,
  • La figure 2 représente le container en cours de montage,
  • La figure 3 représente le détail du verrouillage de la ceinture.
    • En se reportant sur la figure 1, on voit une plaque de carton ondulé ou autre matériau semi-rigide similaire tel que les plaques alvéolaires en polyoléfine. L'épaisseur de la plaque dépend de l'utilisation à laquelle elle est destinée.
    Sur cette plaque, on a représenté les découpes en traits continus, et les lignes de pliage en traits interrompus. On forme ces lignes de pliage par rainage, c'est à dire en amincissant le matériau par écrasement ou enlèvement de matière.
    La plaque comprend un premier panneau 10, un second panneau 20, un troisième panneau 30 et un quatrième panneau 40. Ils sont délimités entre eux par les lignes de pliage 11, 21, 31 parallèles. Le bord libre 13 du premier panneau 10, parallèle aux lignes de pliage, comprend une paire de tenons 12. A l'opposé, le panneau 40 est prolongé le long d'une dernière ligne de pliage 41, parallèle au bord libre 13, par un panneau, dit de verrouillage, 50. Des encoches sont ménagées le long de cette ligne 41. Elles sont adaptées pour recevoir les tenons 12 du panneau 10.
    La hauteur du panneau 50 est légèrement inférieure à celle de son panneau adjacent. La largeur du panneau 50, mesurée entre la ligne de pliage 41 et son bord libre 51 est aussi légèrement inférieure à celle du panneau 30, mesurée entre les lignes de pliage 21 et 31.
    La plaque comporte aussi des volets latéraux, au moins un, qui vont former le fond du container. Il s'agit des deuxièmes volets 22 et 42 qui sont disposés latéralement par rapport aux deuxième et quatrième panneaux.
    Conformément à une autre caractéristique la caisse comporte des patins sur lesquels elle repose. Ces patins sont formés à partir de premiers volets latéraux 15 et 35 prolongeant latéralement les premier 10 et troisième 30 panneaux. On observe que les panneaux 10 et 30 ont une hauteur supérieure à celle de leurs panneaux adjacents 20 et 40. Une première raine 151; 351 est parallèle et décalée par rapport aux raines 201 et 401 délimitant les panneaux 20 et 40. Les volets 15 et 35 sont divisés en deux, chacun par une raine 152, 352 parallèle à la raine 151 et 351 respectivement. Ils comprennent une languette 153 et 353 sur leur bord libre. Ces languettes sont ménagées pour coopérer avec des encoches pratiquées sur les volets 22 et 42.
    De l'autre côté, les panneaux comportent des troisièmes volets latéraux 16, 26, 36, 46 formant le couvercle du container.
    Le montage du container consiste à enrouler les panneaux 10 à 40 de façon à former la ceinture du container. Le panneau 50 vient contre le panneau 10, à l'intérieur par rapport à la ceinture. On glisse les tenons 12 dans les encoches pratiquées le long de la ligne de pliage 41. On rabat les deuxièmes volets 22 et 42 à 90° pour former le fond du container. Ensuite, on met les patins en volume en enroulant les premiers volets 15 et 35 autour des lignes de pliage 151, 152 et 351, 352 respectivement. On glisse enfin les languettes 153, 353 dans les encoches des deuxièmes volets du fond pour verrouiller les patins. On observe que le verrouillage du premier volet 15 contribue au verrouillage de la ceinture.
    En se reportant sur la figure 2, on voit le container en cours de montage la ceinture est sur le point d'être refermée. Le patin du premier volet 15 n'a pas encore été mis en volume. Celui du volet 35 est déjà formé.
    Sur la figure 3, on a représenté, en vue de dessus, la partie correspondant au verrouillage du container. Le panneau 50 est en appui interne contre le panneau 10. La languette 353 du patin sous-jacent est engagée dans l'encoche du fond. Celui-ci est formé par les deuxièmes volets 22 et 52 qui sont superposés. Cet ensemble constitue un verrouillage particulièrement efficace. Les efforts exercés par la charge qui se trouve à l'intérieur du container sont absorbés par les deux dièdres formés respectivement par les panneaux 40 et 50 d'une part et 10 et 20 d'autre part.
    Un container a été réalisé en carton de type à double cannelure de qualité : lourd. Les quatre panneaux forment une ceinture de dimensions périphériques de 570/775/570/770 mm pour une hauteur de 530mm. un tel container peut supporter une charge en fluage de plus de 200Kg.

    Claims (5)

    1. Container comportant une ceinture, réalisée à partir d'une plaque de carton ou autre matériau similaire sur laquelle on a délimité par des lignes de pliage (11, 21, 31) parallèles entre elles, les panneaux (10, 20, 30, 40) formant la ceinture, caractérisé par le fait que le premier panneau (10) comporte des tenons (12) sur son bord libre (13) parallèle aux dites lignes de pliage (11, 21, 31) et le dernier panneau (40) est prolongé par un panneau de verrouillage (50) le long d'une dernière ligne de pliage (41) parallèle au bord libre (13), lesdits tenons étant logés dans des encoches ménagées le long de cette dernière ligne (41), et le panneau de verrouillage étant appliqué contre le premier panneau (10).
    2. Container selon la revendication précédente comportant des patins sur lesquels il repose.
    3. Container selon la revendication précédente, dont les patins sont formés par enroulement de premiers volets (15, 35) prolongeant latéralement deux (10, 30) desdits panneaux.
    4. Container selon la revendication précédente dont le fond est constitué d'au moins un deuxième volet (22, 42) prolongeant latéralement un des panneaux (20, 40) autres que les panneaux (10, 30) pourvus des premiers volets (15, 35), les premiers volets comportant des languettes (153, 353) coopérant avec des encoches ménagées dans le dit deuxième volet (22, 42) pour verrouiller le fond du container.
    5. Container selon l'une des revendications précédentes comportant des troisièmes volets pour former le couvercle.
