Description

Technisches GebietTechnical field

The invention relates to a one-piece personal protective suit for Protection against chemical, bacteriological and / or radioactive media, the can be connected to an air supply unit via a connecting line.

Such one-piece protective suits are known per se. They consist of an overalls-like suit made of a flexible material and comprise a hood-shaped head part forming the breathing mask, the is closed on the front by a visor-like window.

In the case of known one-piece protective suits, the air is supplied the person to be protected either with the help of air filled with bottles or with the help of portable blowers, the suction side with a filter connection and its pressure side via a connecting line to the inside of the Protective suit is connected. The air flow is over a corresponding, arranged on the back of the protective suit Connection blown into the protective suit and gets into the hood-shaped headboard. The air blown creates throughout Protective suit an overpressure, which is also in case of possible leaks of the Suit prevents the penetration of toxins.

So that the person to be protected is supplied with air to breathe , the entire headboard is made using stiffening elements formed like a helmet or the overpressure in the protective suit is such chosen that the air flow the headboard in an unfolded state inflates.

A disadvantage of the known personal protective suits is above all that relatively large amounts of air are blown into the respective protective suit must become, depending on the air supply unit, either one frequent, very complex replacement of the oxygen or air bottles or the use of relatively heavy and expensive blowers makes necessary.

Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention

The invention has for its object a Specify a personal protective suit when used as intended Use smaller amounts of air to be blown into the suit can, as this is required in comparable known protective suits is.

This object is achieved by the features of Claim 1 solved. Further, particularly advantageous embodiments of the Invention disclose the subclaims.

The invention is essentially based on the idea that hood-shaped headboard double-walled at least in some areas train and the resulting space as an air duct use, which the fresh air needed for breathing Facial area of the person to be protected. The air duct is for this connected to the air supply unit via a connecting line and has air outlet openings in the facial area of the person to be protected on which the fresh air is preferably above or to the side of the Face emerges.

Because of the relatively small air outlet openings, the air inside of the air duct is stuck, there is an overpressure in the air duct which to inflate the inner and outer hood hood-shaped headboard leads. The inflated hood-shaped Head part therefore forms in connection with the visor-like, e.g. from one Plastic panel existing window a self-supporting headboard, within which the head of the person to be protected is preferably free is mobile.

It has proven to be advantageous if the interior and the Outer hood are connected to each other in such a way that there are at least three result in air ducts arranged essentially parallel to one another, which from the back of the headboard above the cranium to the protect person and end at the air outlet openings.

The personal protective suit according to the invention has in particular Proven for single-use protective suits because of the hood system is very inexpensive to manufacture and thus the price of Personal protection suit according to the invention compared to known One-way suits can be kept low.

If it is a one-time protective suit acts, should a mechanical connection to the hood-shaped head part for releasable connection of the head part to the connecting line of the Air supply unit can be provided to the air supply unit to be able to use several times.

Die Gebläseeinheit 102 saugt über ein Filter 103 Luft aus dem Umgebungsraum an.1 shows a personal protective suit according to the invention at 100 referred to, in which there is a person to be protected 2 (Fig.2). The Protective suit 100 comprises a hood-shaped head part 1, which has a Hose line 11 with one worn over the protective suit Blower unit 102 is connected. The blower unit 102 sucks in Filter 103 air from the surrounding area.

The hood-shaped head part 1 has a visor-like front Window 3, e.g. from an anti-fog resistant Plastic, closed.

The hood-shaped head part 1 is double-walled (FIG. 2), such that an inner hood 4 and an outer hood 5 are formed, between which air channels 6-8 extend (Fig.4), the edge glued together and in sections with seams 9 together are connected. As a result, in the illustrated embodiment a total of three air channels 6-8 formed. These extend from one the rear 101 of the head part 1 connecting piece arranged on the neck side 10, which is connected to the hose line 11 for the supply of fresh air is over the head 12 of the person to be protected 2 to the Air outlet openings 13, which above and to the side of the Facial area 14 of the person 2 are arranged (Fig.3). The course of the Air flow within the head part 1 is in Figures 2-4 and 6 with arrows 15 indicated.

The air channels 6-8 are designed such that the inner hood 4th exerts no compression on the outer hood 5.

On the neck side, there are 19 air outlet valves above an inner collar 16 provided (Fig. 6).

The protective suit 100 according to the invention, which e.g. at Disposable suits made of the commercially available material Tyvec C or F der The DuPont company can have a single opening 17 (FIG. 5) which the person 2 to be protected climbs into the protective suit 100 or strips this off itself. The opening 17 is a arranged below the hood-shaped head part 1, at shoulder height opening from one side to the other, which is opened by means of a Zipper 18 is closable and then sealed can.

The person 2 to be protected rises to put on the protective suit 100 first in the protective suit 100 as in a sack and strips this from below over the legs and the trunk up to the shoulders. After connecting the hose 11 of the not shown The blower unit 102 on the connecting piece 10 becomes the blower unit 102 turned on and the headboard 1 created. The zipper 18 will then completely closed and sealed.

Through the above and to the side of the face area 14 Air outlet openings 13 is a fresh air supply in the Face area 14 guaranteed.

Despite the inner collar 19 arranged in the neck area stretchable cuffs, preferably from the suit material, results through the air flowing out of the air outlet openings 13 as a whole Protective suit 100 a slight overpressure. This overpressure serves the Avoidance of motion-dependent intrinsic negative pressure, the under certain circumstances to an inadmissible insufflation of contaminated Outside air would lead.

The invention is of course not based on the above described embodiment limited. So it is, for example possible the air outlet valves in the area below the window 3 of the hood-shaped headboard.

7, the hose 11 can also lie within the protective suit 100 and the blower unit 102 underneath to be worn with the suit. In this case, the filter 103 is replaced by a The opening of the protective suit is screwed onto the blower unit 102.
