Description

The invention relates to a concealed cistern according to the preamble of claim 1.

Concealed cisterns of the type mentioned are well known for flushing toilets or urinals. They are mounted in front of a building wall on a rack, or in a niche of a building wall. After plastering such cisterns with the exception of an actuator, such as an actuator plate are no longer visible. In such cisterns and on the adjacent building wall condensation may occur when the wall temperature of the cistern drops so low that condenses the moisture contained in the room air. Water condenses on the cistern or on the adjacent building wall when the wall temperature falls below the dew point of the air. Whether condensation occurs depends on the one hand on the wall temperature and on the other hand on the humidity. The humidity can be considered as given. Therefore, to reduce the formation of condensation, it must be avoided that the wall temperature of the cistern falls below the dew point.

Especially in tight spaces has long been the need for a space-saving installation of concealed cisterns.

The usual installation of insulating layers of polystyrene in the box body counteracts this.

The EP-A-1 172 490 discloses a wall-mounted cistern, which has a box body, in which on the rear wall and on the front wall in the water area an outer side and recessed insulation layer is arranged for condensation insulation.

The invention has for its object to provide a concealed cistern, on the one hand effectively insulated against condensation and on the other hand can be mounted to save space.

The object is achieved in a generic flush-mounted cistern according to claim 1.

The inventive concealed cistern can be used similar to a block in a building wall. The concealed cistern therefore requires no additional space and can be covered in a simple manner with a plaster, of course, the inspection opening for the cultivation of an actuator and the Spülwasserauslass remain free. Due to the recessed arrangement of the insulation layer is a very small depth of the concealed cistern of 8 cm or smaller possible. Nevertheless, a thickness of the insulating layer is possible, which allows an effective condensation water insulation also using inexpensive material.

Zusammen mit dem Spülkasten ergibt sich ein k-Wertbereich von 4,5 bis 6 (W/m2K).Experiments have shown that a heat transfer coefficient of the insulation in the k-value range of 7-10 (W / m2K) is optimal. Together with the cistern results in a k-value range of 4.5 to 6 (W / m2K).

According to the invention, it is provided that the flushing pipe and the insulation layer applied thereto can be cut to length in the assembled state. This allows easy adaptation to different connection heights.

A particularly cost-effective design with optimal condensation insulation is obtained according to a development of the invention, when the thickness of the insulating layer is about 4 mm and is made of EPS.

According to the invention, the flushing pipe is also surrounded on the outside with an insulating layer. The depth of this insulating layer may also be about equal to or less than 8 cm.

A particularly simple installation results when the flushing pipe can be attached to a Spülkastenstutzen.

The installation is further simplified if it is provided according to the invention that the Spülkastenkörper has a stop for the insulating layer of the flushing pipe at the bottom. Alternatively, the insulating layer of the Spülkastenkörpers have a stop for the insulating layer of the flushing pipe. Preferably, this stop is formed by an annular projection of the insulating layer of the box body.

Accurate adaptation to different installation heights is simple according to the invention if the flushing pipe in its insulating layer is height-adjustable after installation. The adjustment is preferably carried out by moving the flushing pipe in the insulation layer.

Other advantageous features emerge from the dependent claim, the following description and the drawings.

The in FIG. 1 shown flushing cistern 1 has a box body 2, which is made of a suitable plastic, for example by blow molding. In the upper area of a front wall 2a, a rectangular opening 6 is centrally mounted, which is provided for mounting an actuating device, for example an actuating plate. Through this access opening 6, an actuating lever, not shown here engages in the interior 29, with which a closure body 15 of a drain valve 14 for flushing release can be raised. The closure body 15 has according to FIG. 2 a rubber-elastic valve body 18 which rests on a circular cylindrical body 17 with the drain valve closed, which is connected to an inserted from below into the box body 2 connecting piece 9. The body 17 forms a valve seat for the closure body 15. Between the body 17 and the connecting piece 9, a sealing ring 16 is inserted, which seals the body 17 relative to the connecting piece 9. The separately produced connection piece 9 allows installation of the drain fitting 14 from below. This is particularly advantageous in a narrow cistern. After placing the connecting piece 9 on the box body 2, an upwardly directed peripheral edge 9a is welded to the box body 2. The connecting piece 9 is tightly connected to the box body 2 and forms a lower outlet opening 30 through which rinse water W enters a spout 4 at a rinse.

For condensation insulation, the box body 2 in the water area is connected on the outside to an insulation layer 3. This insulating layer 3 consists for example of EPS (expanded polystyrene) and has a thickness of preferably about 4 mm. The insulating layer 3 extends over a front side 3a, a back side 3b and over the narrow sides not shown here. In addition, the insulating layer 3 covers the bottom portion of the box body 2 and has a cylindrical center 3c, which surrounds a portion of the connecting piece 9, in particular the center FIG. 2 clearly shows. The insulating layer 3 is staggered with respect to a rear wall portion 3d and a front wall portion 3e. The back 8 of the insulation 3b is thus flush with the outside 26 of the area 3d. Also on the narrow sides of the box body 2, not shown here, the insulating layer 3 is preferably offset flush inside. Accordingly, the outside 7 of the insulation area 3a is flush with the outside of the area 3e. As a result, the concealed cistern 1 can be made particularly compact and with a comparatively small depth A. This depth A is about 8 cm or less. Due to this small construction depth, it is possible to install the concealed cistern 1 similar to a building block in a building wall 19, as shown in the FIGS. 3 to 5 is shown schematically. In the FIG. 3 shown building wall 19 is made of individual components not shown here with a module width B of about 8 cm. Since the depth A of the concealed cistern 1 is also about 8 cm or less, the concealed cistern 1 can be installed in an opening 27 and covered during plastering. Only the inspection opening 6 and a protruding mouth 13 of the flushing pipe 10 are hereby free. The attachment of the concealed cistern 1 is carried out with a strut 21 or 22, as shown in the FIGS. 4 and 5 is shown.

The flushing pipe 10 of the outlet 4 is according to FIG. 2 placed on the connecting piece 9 and sealed with respect to this with a sealing ring 28. On the nozzle 9, the purge pipe 10 is displaceable in the longitudinal direction. The flushing pipe 10 is surrounded by an insulation 11, which is also made of EPS, for example. In this isolation 11, the flushing pipe 10 is limited in height. The range of the displaceability results from a lower opening 12, through which the flushing pipe 10 projects horizontally with an orifice 13. As can be seen, the opening 12 is larger than the diameter of the mouth 13. By means of a block 5 of EPS, the mouth 13 can be covered as a construction protection measure. This block 5 protrudes with an upper projection 5a in the opening 12. After removal of the pad 5, the flushing pipe 10 can be moved upwards in the insulation 11 to an upper stop. The insulation 11 abuts an upper edge 11a on the neck 3c. The flushing pipe 10 is pushed into said approach 3c during said shifting upwards. The isolation of the flushing pipe 10 is retained in this case. Before placing the flushing pipe 10, this can be cut to length along with the insulation 11 at the upper edge 11a. A too long flush pipe 10 can thus be shortened together with the insulation 11, if this should be necessary due to the installation situation. By moving the flushing pipe 10, the exact position of the mouth 13 can then be finely adjusted.

The FIG. 7 shows a connecting piece 9 'according to a variant. In this connection piece 9 'a downwardly projecting tubular part 9b' is formed, which serves as a stop for the insulation 11 as can be seen. Also in this case, the flushing pipe 10 can be moved in the insulation 11 upwards. The mouth 13 can be adjusted exactly to the height of pipe sections 13 and 24 to a cap 25 of the flushing water pipe.
