Abstract

The sectional door for a garage (1) has panels (2,3) connected by hinges (4) to allow opening and closing movement. Each of the hinges between adjacent panels is connected to each adjacent panel (2,3) on their inner faces by flanges (10,11). The panel edges define male (M) and female (F) surfaces which are curved and symmetrical and have a limited angle of movement to prevent the outer profile edges closing.
