Die einzelnen, gegebenenfalls unterschiedlich langen, zweckmäßig über die gesamte Behälterlänge vorgesehenen Schwenksegmente erlauben eine von den jeweiligen Abmessungen der eingelegten Analysengefäße abhängige, zielgenaue Abstützung und Positionierung. Denn durch Herausschwenken eines Schwenksegmentes oder mehrerer Schwenksegmente gemeinsam aus der Mitte zu einer Seite hin, legt sich ein Schwenksegment oder legen sich die mehreren Schwenksegmente vor die betreffende Stirnfläche des Analysen- bzw. Probengefäßes, dessen anderes Ende sich an einer Seitenwand des Verwandbehälters abstützt.
