For the principle of the invention it is irrelevant like the mechanical one Cleaning element for mechanical cleaning of the Cutting set is formed. For example, it is conceivable the mechanical cleaning element with an art or Form natural fleece or the like. It is also possible the mechanical cleaning element with a special To provide surface on which hair remains or beard meal stick. According to a preferred embodiment the mechanical cleaning element has a base plate, on which a brush element is arranged. Here it sees Brush element a variety of arranged side by side Bristles that extend from the base plate. By the brush element is a particularly effective cleaning effect of the cutting set, because the bristles of the Brush element to the surface contour of the cutting set can adjust flexibly. So the bristles come with the entire surface of the cutting set to be cleaned in mechanical Contact, eliminating all remains of hair and beard flour can be removed from the cutting set.
Another preferred embodiment of the invention provides before that with the section of the cutting set to be cleaned mechanical contacting section of the mechanical Cleaning element during the cleaning process a movement component in the cutting direction and / or perpendicular to Has cutting plane of the cutting set.
The following example shows how these features work exemplary, but by no means conclusive: The mechanical cleaning element has a brush element a plurality of bristles arranged side by side on the extend substantially perpendicular from the base plate. Furthermore, it is the cutting set of a hair clipper with a cutting comb and a cutting knife. For the sake of simplicity, the movement of the brush element in the present example only by a movement component parallel to the cutting direction or perpendicular to the cutting plane described.
The cutting comb has jagged ones arranged next to one another Tines so-called tooth tips, which are mutually recessed are spaced. The tooth tips essentially lay that Cutting plane of the cutting set. The cutting knife is there essentially of two arranged transversely to the cutting comb Shear blades, which operate in opposite directions to each other in the Oscillate the cutting plane.
During the hair cutting process, the cutting set is in the cutting direction moves, causing the hair to be cut through the tips of the teeth of the cutting comb are fed to the cutting knife. This is preferably stored in the area of the depressions Cutting comb and in the area of the cutting blades of the cutting knife Hair remains on.
When cleaning the cutting comb, the bristles of the brush element occasionally and in sections in mechanical contact with the cutting comb. The bristles extend in the Essentially perpendicular to the cutting plane of the cutting comb and reach through the cutting comb at least in sections in the area of the wells. The brush element also moves parallel to the cutting direction so that the vertical bristles extending to the tooth tips of the cutting comb move towards or away from the tooth tips. It has it has been shown that in this way the cutting comb is special hair debris can be removed effectively.
When cleaning the cutting knife it was shown that the cutting knife can be cleaned particularly effectively, if the brush element, at the time of the mechanical Contact with the cutting knife, perpendicular to that through the Cutting comb set cutting plane moves.
According to a further preferred embodiment, this leads mechanical cleaning element relative to the cutting set a rotational movement by.
Another particularly preferred embodiment sees before that the base plate of the mechanical cleaning element has a turning center and that on top of the base plate the brush element is arranged, which is at least in sections outside the center of rotation of the base plate extends. Furthermore, this embodiment provides that the cutting set at least in sections outside the Center of rotation of the base plate can be used in the receiving device is.
Another preferred exemplary embodiment provides that the base plate is circular and its center forms the center of rotation of the cleaning element.
To the waste in the manufacture of the brush element as possible to keep it low, it is advantageous if the brush element not in one piece, but from several brush segments is composed, the brush segments essentially are formed as circular sectors.
Another preferred exemplary embodiment provides that the brush segments are spaced apart.
According to another particularly preferred embodiment the base plate has one or more slot-like recesses which reach through the base plate. Furthermore is provided according to this embodiment that each Recess at least in sections in the area between the spaced apart brush segments. Thereby It ensures that hair remains and beard meal, for example by the mechanical trained as a brush element Cleaning element have been removed from the cutting set can not accumulate in the area of the brush element, but fall through the slot-like recess in the base plate. This ensures that the cleaning effect of the Brush element not through accumulated beard flour or through hair deposits are impaired.
According to a further preferred embodiment, the Device for cleaning cutting sets on a housing, which the mechanical cleaning element at least in sections encloses. This is particularly from a hygienic point of view particularly advantageous because of the cutting set removed hair remnants or the beard meal removed from the cutting set at least for the most part by the mechanical cleaning element enclosing housing are collected and thus cannot get into the environment.
According to a further preferred exemplary embodiment, that the recesses are essentially from the turning center extend to the inside edge of the housing.
According to another preferred embodiment is on a brush-shaped scraper element on the underside of the base plate arranged, which is essentially from the center of rotation the base plate extends to the inside edge of the housing. Thereby it is possible through the slit-like recesses hair remains fallen on the base plate by means of the on the Underside of the base plate arranged scraper element in the housing space below the base plate and collect it to be cleaned by a kind of sweeping effect.
A particularly preferred embodiment provides that the Housing a lower housing shell and an upper housing shell having. Furthermore, according to this embodiment, that the receiving device as an opening in the upper housing shell is trained. In addition, this embodiment provides before that at least the mechanical cleaning element, the upper housing shell and the lower housing shell releasable are interconnectable. Through the detachable connection of the housing upper shell and housing lower shell with the mechanical Cleaning element ensures that the device for cleaning cutting sets, e.g. for cleaning or Easily dismantled for repair purposes and reassembled is.
To handle the device for cleaning cutting sets to make it particularly easy to design, if that Mechanical cleaning element by means of a drive device is driven by an electric motor. Furthermore, it is useful if this drive device in the upper housing shell or the lower housing shell is integrated. Another particularly preferred embodiment sees before that an opening of the first kind and an opening of the second type are provided. Here is in the Opening the first type of cutting set in a position for cleaning of the cutting comb and into the opening of the second type of Cutting set in one position for cleaning the cutting knife used. By training special receptacles for cleaning the cutting comb and the cutting knife it is possible to place them in one position with the brush element to bring into mechanical contact in one the most effective cleaning effect can be achieved. So is For example, the cutting comb of the cutting set in the opening first Can be used in such a way that the brush element in the Cutting plane parallel to the cutting direction of the cutting set emotional. The cutting knife of the cutting set is in the opening second type can be used in such a way that the brush element moved perpendicular to the cutting plane of the cutting set. From this follows for the cutting knife and the Cutting comb achieves the best possible cleaning effect.
According to another particularly preferred embodiment the lower housing shell has an emptying opening for hair or the like. Hair remnants or beard meal, which by the slot-like recesses of the base plate in the area of The lower case can fall out easily the lower case, which is from the lower case and the underside of the base plate of the mechanical cleaning element is removed. In combination with the brush-shaped stripping element described above, through which the located in the lower case Beard meal and hair remnants can be swept together, this one Cavity can be cleaned in a simple manner.
Another preferred embodiment of the invention provides before that in the lower housing shell a removable collecting container to catch the discharge opening described above falling hair or beard flour remains is provided.
To oil the cutting set after cleaning, it is useful if an additional Device for oiling the cutting set is provided. To a particularly preferred embodiment is on the housing Third type opening provided as a device for oiling in which the cleaned cutting set in the area of the tooth tips and the cutting knife is used. It is conceivable that in the third type opening there is a cartridge with a oil-soaked sponge, foam or felt is provided, which brought into contact with the cutting set to be oiled becomes. Another possibility is to add the oil to the oil Cutting set using at least one in the area of the opening third type provided wick.
Another particularly preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the cleaning process of the cutting set automatically when inserting the cutting set into the opening first or second type is carried out. This is in the area the opening of the first or second type of sensor elements downstream electronics provided.
