Definitions
- the invention relates to a centrifugal pump unit with one of a front and a rear housing part existing pump housing, at the front Housing part coaxial with the pump axis an inlet nozzle and at the rear Housing part, opposite the inlet nozzle, arrangements for attachment a lantern housing that carries the pump housing freely and over the rear housing part connects to a drive motor, are provided, and with an impeller which is mounted from outside the pump housing, is driven sealed in the interior of inserted shaft and to which the front and the rear housing part in their radial Extension range are adapted with each narrow annular gap, and with a the impeller comprehensive, formed in the pump housing annular channel, preferably a volute casing having a discharge port.
- Thin-walled housing for centrifugal pumps are increasingly in competition there with those with thick-walled housings, preferably those in cast design, where the price / performance ratio on the one hand and the weight, the absence of pores and the surface quality of the rolled starting material on the other hand decisive Selection criteria for a centrifugal pump.
- Casing wall thicknesses manufactured in rolled material are only dependent on the working pressure of the centrifugal pump, whereas in the case of molded casings a minimum wall thickness must not be exceeded for technological reasons, which in many cases is oversized with regard to the occurring stress.
- cast housings are generally regarded as dimensionally stable and thus functionally reliable; their shape is well known (see for example DE 25 29 458 C2 or company publication 5.046.1, Tuchenhagen, centrifugal pumps, series VPB, VPC, VPD ... L, Otto Tuchenhagen GmbH & Co. KG, D-21510 Büchen).
- centrifugal pump a play a crucial role in the selection, looking for cost-effective solutions for Centrifugal pumps in sheet metal design sought.
- the desire for one in all areas predominantly relatively thin-walled centrifugal pump construction is however not bound to the use of sheet metal as the starting material when the required thinness by alternative manufacturing methods is possible.
- a pump housing which consists partly of a thin-walled metal sheet and the other part made of machined housing parts, the latter constitute housing areas with considerable accumulation of material.
- a first housing part produced by machining serves in particular for the formation of the annular space enclosing the impeller.
- a second annular housing part which may correspond to and be connected to the first one in a variety of ways, connects on a connection diameter larger than the impeller diameter via a number of screws to an intermediate housing, which in turn is flying by a drive motor will be carried.
- Differently sized pump housings and correspondingly large drive housings require specially adapted, differently sized intermediate housings both on the pump side and on the motor side.
- centrifugal pumps of a pump series which differ according to head and / or volume flow, with the lowest possible To generate design and adaptation effort. This succeeds on the one hand by radial enlargement of the impeller and thus a corresponding Enlargement of the housing comprising the impeller and on the other hand by axial widening of the impeller and thus a corresponding axial enlargement of the impeller surrounding shovel-free annular space optionally in conjunction with an annular channel formed as a spiral housing can be.
- Centrifugal pumps of different power of a pump series demand accordingly adapted in performance drive motors, the latter on each of its front side, which is penetrated by a motor shaft, a connecting flange whose flange diameter usually from the engine power is dependent.
- connection between lantern and pump housing is comparable Way, namely the fact that the rear housing part of the pump housing a annular encircling, structurally relatively complex reinforcement with a recess has, at which the lantern housing coaxially centered and also by means of Distributed distributed over the circumference arranged screws is releasably attached.
- Such Solution is only in the formation of the rear housing part in the form of a casting or weldment possible, the first through the glands Conditional material accumulation on the rear housing part in the area of the annular circumferential reinforcement only for an axially very limited coaxial guidance between the rear housing part and the attached lantern housing can be used.
- the known solution of the connection of the lamp housing on the one hand with the different sizes and performances Pump housing and on the other hand with the corresponding in performance adapted motor can not be on thin-walled designed housing, notably such in sheet metal construction, transferred
- the first and second flanges are connected together by a number of screws. Due to the connection of the intermediate housing in the inner region of the rear housing part, the adaptation effort for the intermediate housing to differently sized pump housings is significantly reduced. However, it is also clear with regard to the connection point between pump and intermediate housing, that a consistently thin-walled design of the pump housing is not accessible.
- centrifugal pump unit which, without that it is set from the outset to a design in sheet metal construction, predominantly is relatively thin-walled and on the one hand low weight With high rigidity and on the other hand by the shape of a high degree Variability in terms of pump performance with little adaptation effort different sizes of drive motors connects.
- the rear housing part is formed in the region of the impeller as a radially extending rear surface, the drive side and at its inner portion in a cylindrical receiving housing with an outside guide diameter (d) extends that the cylindrical Receiving housing is guided in a cylindrical receiving bore in a substantially cylindrical part of the lamp housing, that connects a pump-side lantern flange to the cylindrical part radially outside, and that the pump-side lantern on a connection diameter (D i ) is directly connected to the rear surface.
- Coaxial alignment between the pump and lantern housings as well as the attachment of the two components to each other can therefore always be carried out identically in terms of shape and dimensions for the most varied pump sizes.
- the integrated in the pump housing annular channel is located in any case outside the pump-side Latemenflansches, so that a widening of the impeller and / or an increase in the impeller diameter and a change the annular channel cross-section no effect on the attachment between Pump housing and pump-side lantern flange have.
- the the Guide serving cylindrical receiving bore in the cylindrical part of the Lantern housing has the relatively small guide diameter d.
- Corresponding is dimensioned corresponding to the cylindrical receiving bore cylindrical receiving housing, which adjoins the rear surface of the rear housing part continues in the axial direction.
- the relatively small guide diameter d allows a very accurate tolerance of the clearance between the cylindrical receiving bore in the lantern housing and the cylindrical Receptacle housing on the rear housing part, so that a maximum Coaxiality between pump and lantern housing is ensured.
- centrifugal pump unit form the pump-side lantern flange and the rear surface of the rear Housing part with each other a first mounting surface, which is perpendicular to the pump axis is oriented and has a relatively short radial extent. Thereby a statically clear and rigid connection between pump and lantern housing reached.
- the front housing part via a Outer diameter centered on the rear housing part, which is outside the outer Dimension of the annular channel is located.
- the proposed solution provides for this Furthermore, that the rear housing part, seen in the radial direction, as far outside the outer radial dimension of the annular channel in a wall portion continues with a radially oriented third annular surface, and that a lateral surface of the third annular surface forming wall portion of a first Rezess is included, which at one on the front housing part trained, with the third annular surface corresponding first annular surface is arranged.
- the radial Extension of the mutually corresponding and connected annular surfaces is dimensioned so that there are several, distributed over the circumference arranged can easily accommodate second screw.
- the coaxial centering of the front housing part on the rear housing part via one on the pump housing the largest possible outer diameter manages the conceivable most favorable conditions for the greatest possible coaxiality between these Housing parts.
- the seal between the front and rear housing part opposite the Interior of the annular channel is preferably carried out by a in the rear housing part arranged housing seal, which is arranged so that it is in a gap between the front and rear housing part in the direction of the interior of the Ring channel outrankulstet.
- the third annular surface with respect to a second axially delimiting the annular channel Ring surface by an axial offset away from the annular channel axially offset at the second annular surface is arranged, and that for sealing between the first and the third annular surface, a housing seal is provided, which in a in the Transition region between the second and the third ring surface and on the Interior of the annular channel adjacent arranged sealing groove is inserted.
- the above-mentioned axial offset gives the inner diameter of the housing seal a housing-side paragraph, on the one hand bearing surface and on the other Creates space for the mentioned housing seal.
- the different lantern housings always have identical guide diameters d and connection diameters D i on the pump housing, and on the other hand they each have different conicity in the direction of the drive-side lantern flange, which in each case has a flange diameter D determined by a second recess.
- the interior of the conical part is sufficiently dimensioned, to record a shaft coupling there.
- the allowed directed toward the pump housing conical taper of the lamp housing easy access from the outside to the connection point of the pump side Lantern flange with the pump housing and the other to the connection point between the front and rear housing part of the pump housing.
- connection between the shaft of the centrifugal pump and the motor shaft takes place advantageously via a clamping connection formed within the Lantern housing arranged shaft coupling.
- This solution has the advantage that the respective drive motor with a standard stub shaft of the Motor shaft may be formed.
- a motor shaft designed as a special shaft, which is suitable, the pump impeller and the subsequent mechanical seal is therefore, as often in solutions according to the state of Technique is the case, not foreseen.

L, Otto Tuchenhagen GmbH & Co. KG, D-21510 Büchen).Thin-walled housing for centrifugal pumps, especially those in sheet metal construction, are increasingly in competition there with those with thick-walled housings, preferably those in cast design, where the price / performance ratio on the one hand and the weight, the absence of pores and the surface quality of the rolled starting material on the other hand decisive Selection criteria for a centrifugal pump. Casing wall thicknesses manufactured in rolled material are only dependent on the working pressure of the centrifugal pump, whereas in the case of molded casings a minimum wall thickness must not be exceeded for technological reasons, which in many cases is oversized with regard to the occurring stress. In contrast, cast housings are generally regarded as dimensionally stable and thus functionally reliable; their shape is well known (see for example DE 25 29 458 C2 or company publication 5.046.1, Tuchenhagen, centrifugal pumps, series VPB, VPC, VPD ... It is now everywhere, where low efficiency losses on the one hand acceptable and on the other hand, the cost of such a centrifugal pump a play a crucial role in the selection, looking for cost-effective solutions for Centrifugal pumps in sheet metal design sought. The desire for one in all areas predominantly relatively thin-walled centrifugal pump construction is however not bound to the use of sheet metal as the starting material when the required thinness by alternative manufacturing methods is possible. Independently from the question of whether sheet metal as a starting material for the production of various Parts of a centrifugal pump is used, it is basically first therefore, thin-walled components of a centrifugal pump unit which can always be produced to create, in particular housing parts, connecting housing between Centrifugal pump and drive motor and impeller, in addition to a possibly too demanding fluidic physical function the necessary rigidity and strength have.
In US 6,200,090 B1 , a pump housing is described, which consists partly of a thin-walled metal sheet and the other part made of machined housing parts, the latter constitute housing areas with considerable accumulation of material. A first housing part produced by machining serves in particular for the formation of the annular space enclosing the impeller. A second annular housing part, which may correspond to and be connected to the first one in a variety of ways, connects on a connection diameter larger than the impeller diameter via a number of screws to an intermediate housing, which in turn is flying by a drive motor will be carried. Differently sized pump housings and correspondingly large drive housings require specially adapted, differently sized intermediate housings both on the pump side and on the motor side.
It is further stated goal centrifugal pumps of a pump series, which differ according to head and / or volume flow, with the lowest possible To generate design and adaptation effort. Centrifugal pumps of different power of a pump series demand accordingly adapted in performance drive motors, the latter on each of its front side, which is penetrated by a motor shaft, a connecting flange whose flange diameter usually from the engine power is dependent.
In the related connection between centrifugal pump and drive motor now arises for reasons of cost, the problem of connecting the different pump sizes of a pump series with the corresponding drive motors without much constructive adjustment effort. It has already been proposed to connect the connecting flange or the so-called end shield of the drive motor via a so-called lantern housing with the rear housing part of the pump housing ( Fristam pumps, F. Stamp KG , Hamburg, centrifugal pump FP 700, FP34, FP35, E8612002, before 1993) , In this case, the lantern housing has a recession on the motor side, whereby a coaxial centering between the lamp housing and flange of the motor is given. The connection between the lantern housing and the connection flange is achieved via a plurality of hexagonal screws arranged over the circumference of the connection flange and passing through the latter and screwed to the lantern housing.
Leistungen ausgeführten Pumpengehäuse und andererseits mit dem in der Leistung entsprechend angepassten Motor lässt sich nicht auf dünnwandig ausgestaltete Gehäuse, vornehmlich solche in Blechbauweise, übertragenThe connection between lantern and pump housing is comparable Way, namely the fact that the rear housing part of the pump housing a annular encircling, structurally relatively complex reinforcement with a recess has, at which the lantern housing coaxially centered and also by means of Distributed distributed over the circumference arranged screws is releasably attached. Such Solution is only in the formation of the rear housing part in the form of a casting or weldment possible, the first through the glands Conditional material accumulation on the rear housing part in the area of the annular circumferential reinforcement only for an axially very limited coaxial guidance between the rear housing part and the attached lantern housing can be used. The known solution of the connection of the lamp housing on the one hand with the different sizes and performances Pump housing and on the other hand with the corresponding in performance adapted motor can not be on thin-walled designed housing, notably such in sheet metal construction, transferred
In DE 195 41 195 A1 a centrifugal pump unit is described, in which the pump housing is designed predominantly relatively thin-walled. At the junction of the rear housing part with an intermediate housing which carries the pump housing freely and in which the drive end of the pump shaft is mounted twice, is at the rear housing part, in the inner region and at an axial distance from the rear surface, with a narrow annular gap to a Impeller is adapted to a relatively thick-walled, annular first flange welded. This first flange extends on the drive side and on the inside into a cylindrical sleeve, via which a relatively thick-walled, pump-side, annular second flange of the intermediate housing is accommodated and aligned coaxially. The first and second flanges are connected together by a number of screws.
It is an object of the invention to provide a centrifugal pump unit, which, without that it is set from the outset to a design in sheet metal construction, predominantly is relatively thin-walled and on the one hand low weight With high rigidity and on the other hand by the shape of a high degree Variability in terms of pump performance with little adaptation effort different sizes of drive motors connects.
This object is solved by the features in claim 1. Advantageous embodiments the proposed centrifugal pump unit according to the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
The decisive approach to solve the problem is that the rear housing part is formed in the region of the impeller as a radially extending rear surface, the drive side and at its inner portion in a cylindrical receiving housing with an outside guide diameter (d) extends that the cylindrical Receiving housing is guided in a cylindrical receiving bore in a substantially cylindrical part of the lamp housing, that connects a pump-side lantern flange to the cylindrical part radially outside, and that the pump-side lantern on a connection diameter (D i ) is directly connected to the rear surface. Coaxial alignment between the pump and lantern housings as well as the attachment of the two components to each other can therefore always be carried out identically in terms of shape and dimensions for the most varied pump sizes.
The integrated in the pump housing annular channel is located in any case outside the pump-side Latemenflansches, so that a widening of the impeller and / or an increase in the impeller diameter and a change the annular channel cross-section no effect on the attachment between Pump housing and pump-side lantern flange have. The the Guide serving cylindrical receiving bore in the cylindrical part of the Lantern housing has the relatively small guide diameter d. Corresponding is dimensioned corresponding to the cylindrical receiving bore cylindrical receiving housing, which adjoins the rear surface of the rear housing part continues in the axial direction. The relatively small guide diameter d allows a very accurate tolerance of the clearance between the cylindrical receiving bore in the lantern housing and the cylindrical Receptacle housing on the rear housing part, so that a maximum Coaxiality between pump and lantern housing is ensured.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the proposed centrifugal pump unit form the pump-side lantern flange and the rear surface of the rear Housing part with each other a first mounting surface, which is perpendicular to the pump axis is oriented and has a relatively short radial extent. Thereby a statically clear and rigid connection between pump and lantern housing reached.
To accumulate material as a result of annular reinforcements for deployment To avoid thread bottom holes, as in solutions after The prior art considered disadvantageous, proposes the invention furthermore, that the rear surface and the pump-side lantern flange over several threaded bolts are bolted together (first screw), arranged in the pitch circle arrangement on the connection diameter and are materially connected to the rear surface. The cohesive connection the threaded bolt with the rear surface takes place for example by resistance welding, so that the back surface in the connection area no reinforcement must experience.
According to another proposal, the front housing part via a Outer diameter centered on the rear housing part, which is outside the outer Dimension of the annular channel is located. The proposed solution provides for this Furthermore, that the rear housing part, seen in the radial direction, as far outside the outer radial dimension of the annular channel in a wall portion continues with a radially oriented third annular surface, and that a lateral surface of the third annular surface forming wall portion of a first Rezess is included, which at one on the front housing part trained, with the third annular surface corresponding first annular surface is arranged. The radial Extension of the mutually corresponding and connected annular surfaces is dimensioned so that there are several, distributed over the circumference arranged can easily accommodate second screw. The coaxial centering of the front housing part on the rear housing part via one on the pump housing the largest possible outer diameter manages the conceivable most favorable conditions for the greatest possible coaxiality between these Housing parts.
The seal between the front and rear housing part opposite the Interior of the annular channel is preferably carried out by a in the rear housing part arranged housing seal, which is arranged so that it is in a gap between the front and rear housing part in the direction of the interior of the Ring channel out herausulstet. So that as unimpaired as possible Wall thickness of the rear housing part also in the area of the housing seal receiving sealing groove is ensured, it is further proposed that the third annular surface with respect to a second axially delimiting the annular channel Ring surface by an axial offset away from the annular channel axially offset at the second annular surface is arranged, and that for sealing between the first and the third annular surface, a housing seal is provided, which in a in the Transition region between the second and the third ring surface and on the Interior of the annular channel adjacent arranged sealing groove is inserted. The above-mentioned axial offset gives the inner diameter of the housing seal a housing-side paragraph, on the one hand bearing surface and on the other Creates space for the mentioned housing seal.
It is further proposed that connects to the same shape and dimensions for all pump sizes of a pump series same cylindrical part of the lamp housing, a radially expanding conical part, which ends on the outside in a radially oriented drive-side lantern with a second recess. By this solution, an adaptation of the lamp housing for different sized centrifugal pumps to the correspondingly different sized drive motors is possible in each case that only learn the drive side lamp flange and the motor side conical part an adjustment. Consequently, the different lantern housings always have identical guide diameters d and connection diameters D i on the pump housing, and on the other hand they each have different conicity in the direction of the drive-side lantern flange, which in each case has a flange diameter D determined by a second recess. The widening from the relatively small guide diameter d to the relatively large flange diameter D conical part of the lamp housing gives the latter with relatively thin-walled training an extraordinary strength and stability.
In each case, the interior of the conical part is sufficiently dimensioned, to record a shaft coupling there. In addition, the allowed directed toward the pump housing conical taper of the lamp housing easy access from the outside to the connection point of the pump side Lantern flange with the pump housing and the other to the connection point between the front and rear housing part of the pump housing.
The connection between the shaft of the centrifugal pump and the motor shaft takes place advantageously via a clamping connection formed within the Lantern housing arranged shaft coupling. This solution has the advantage that the respective drive motor with a standard stub shaft of the Motor shaft may be formed. A motor shaft designed as a special shaft, which is suitable, the pump impeller and the subsequent mechanical seal is therefore, as often in solutions according to the state of Technique is the case, not foreseen.
