Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for transferring successive along a feed path flat products to a conveyor with in Conveying direction of movable, individually controllable grippers, those for grasping the products on their leading edge are designed, the feed path in their the End area facing the conveyor a conveyor gap has, in which the flat products at least are held in sections on both sides.
- Such devices are used, for example, to be transported in a scale formation on a conveyor belt Printed products to another conveyor to hand over who is able to individual printed products with one gripper each grasp what the printed products held in the grippers isolated of their further processing can be supplied.
- a device is known from the Swiss patent specification CH 630 583 A5. at the device disclosed therein becomes printed products on a conveyor belt redirecting the Printed products fed conveyor gap. After the printed products leave the conveyor gap , they reach a transfer area in which they individually by controllable grippers at their leading Edge can be gripped.
- the described device is according to the prior art on the one hand has the disadvantage that the Printed matter at the moment of being grabbed by the assigned grippers only on one Conveyor support, but in no way there are fixed so that it is not guaranteed that the Printed products are positioned precisely by the grippers can be taken. On the other hand, it is with the described device also disadvantageous that this for printed matter of different sizes, qualities and / or thickness in each case to the adapted to the respective printed matter must be adjusted.
- An object of the invention is a device to provide the type mentioned above, in addition to a precise takeover of products by Gripper of the conveyor also enables products different size, thickness and texture process without any significant changes Adjustment work on the device required are.
- This object is achieved in that Gripper one product reception area during each Product delivery effective forced stop for the leading edges of the products is provided, the The distance between the positive stop and the conveyor gap is selected in this way is that the trailing edges of the products are still in the conveyor gap when the leading edges toast against the positive stop.
- the Relative position between product and gripper of transfer to transfer always remains constant because the positive stop the products within the open gripper are always in positioned in the same way.
- the distance between positive stop selected according to the invention and conveyor gap ensures that the products during of the entire product takeover process always defined and be kept active for as long as the gripper is opened through the conveyor gap, then for one short period of time through the conveyor gap and the closed Gripper and after leaving the conveyor gap exclusively by the gripper.
- the products lie thus to none during the product takeover process Time as in the prior art only on one Funding on, so that according to the invention in contrast to State of the art ensures that no Moving or slipping of the products take place can. The result was always the same and correct position of products in all grippers enables accurate Further processing of the products.
- the device according to the invention can be designed in this way can that the distance between the positive stop and Conveying gap adjusted to the shortest possible product length the device according to the invention can in this case easily for any larger product lengths can be used without the need for adjustment work would. Furthermore, the opening width of the gripper can be set that comparatively thick products can be included. In this case you can again also thinner without any adjustment work Products are gripped by the gripper.
- the positive stop can be formed in two parts, the first part of the forced stop being stationary and the second part is movable.
- the two parts of the positive stop can be angled two form mutually extending stop surfaces, the Product always in the area of the positive stop at which the two surfaces intersect. If now one surface stationary and the second surface synchronous is moved to the gripper, the moves Intersection of the two surfaces and thus the effective one Area of the positive stop with the gripper so that the correct positioning in the open gripper during the entire product takeover process inevitably results.
- the moving part of the forced stop can be done by one Element of one in the product handover process Gripper be formed, for example by a leading Leg of this gripper or one with this Leg connected guide surface.
- This coupling of the movable part of the positive stop with the gripper leads in an advantageous manner between Forced stop and gripper no complex devices must be provided, the movement of the forced stop and synchronize the gripper with each other.
- By the direct coupling of the moving part of the Forced stop with the gripper results in the above Rather, synchronization is automatic.
- the movable part of the positive stop is from a connected to the leading leg of the gripper Guide surface is formed, it is advantageous if this guide surface in the closed state of the gripper at least essentially parallel to the product contact surface of the trailing gripper leg is aligned. On this way the products are used by both sides a flat touch reliably held.
- the gripper legs of the grippers are preferably individual and / or together in the direction of conveyance moving axis of rotation pivotable, in particular with an endless transport chain or with in a guided single wagons are coupled, the can also circulate endlessly.
- the individually and independently pivoting possibility of the Gripper legs can open and close the Grippers can be controlled very individually, so one optimal product intake or product delivery by the To enable grippers. Thanks to the joint pivoting option the particularly closed gripper legs it becomes possible, for example, to be held in the grippers Products always essentially vertical down align and regardless of the respective Slope of the conveying direction.
- the feed section upstream of the conveyor can be designed as a conveyor belt in which the End device facing end area in the Speed of the conveyor belt drivable, at least sections running parallel to the conveyor belt Pressure tape is provided. Between pressure tape and The conveyor belt then becomes the conveyor gap according to the invention educated.
- the pressure tape can either be activated by means of a drive roller or passively by means of an active connection are driven by the conveyor belt.
- the feed section upstream of the conveyor or the conveying gap can be in the conveying device facing end area in a compared to the Horizontal inclined plane.
- runs the conveyor gap in a substantially vertical Level so that the conveyed through the conveyor gap Products leave this upwards and accordingly can be gripped from above using a gripper.
- the conveying movement through the conveying gap during the Closing movement of the person taking over a product Gripper can be done continuously. This enables one simple control of the feed line without changing speed.
- the speed of the products in the conveyor gap and the Transport speed of the grippers during the Product delivery process can at least essentially be the same size. But it is also possible that Slight speed of the products in the conveyor gap to choose larger than the transport speed of the Gripper during the product transfer process. In the latter case is achieved that the products during the entire handover process actively against the Obsessive-compulsive stroke are promoted as they move faster move than this.
- the speed of the products in the conveyor gap and the Transport speed of the grippers during the product transfer process can at least essentially be constant, which in turn controls the feed path and the conveyor simplified.
- the speed of the products in the Conveying gap and the transport speed of the grippers during the product handover process be coordinated so that those at the positive stop Products before the grippers are completely closed be compressed or in a bulged state reach. In this way, the products lie with a certain prestress on the positive stop without that, however, the products may buckle.
- the Speed of the products in the conveyor gap and the Transport speed of the grippers during the product transfer process are so coordinated that those in their front area by closed grippers and with its rear area still in the conveyor gap existing products can be stretched again without a destructive tensile load is exerted on the products becomes.
- the described compression can and stretching of the products during the delivery process also by appropriate orientation of the funding gap and the direction of transport of the grippers become.
- the conveyor gap essentially vertical align so that the products leave him up, while the grippers during the Product handover process first essentially vertical to the conveyor gap and then increasingly in Move in the direction of the conveyor gap.
- the gripper can be, for example, by Realize deflection wheel along the circumference of which Move the gripper during the transfer process.
- At least the closing movement of the grippers is preferred essentially completed while the leading The edges of the products lie against the positive stop. So will ensures that the products in the gripper by Closing the same are positioned exactly.
- leading gripper legs with a Provide guide surface of the type already described it is advantageous if this guide surface at least in a period immediately before Completion of the closing movement of the gripper legs at least essentially parallel to each trailing gripper leg is aligned. Thereby it becomes possible to produce products with widely varying thicknesses evenly without any changes to the gripper good, safe and easy to grip from both sides.
- the products of the conveyor over the feed path in regular or irregular scale formation or also from each other spaced. Possibly, smaller ones Irregularities are automatically compensated by that the products during the delivery process active against the positive stop through the conveyor gap be promoted.
- FIG. 1 shows a feed section in its lower region 1, which is designed as an endlessly rotating conveyor belt 1 ' is, of which, however, only one end region in FIG A total of three deflection and guide rollers 2 are shown is.
- the conveyor belt 1 'initially runs in a Essentially horizontal direction, whereupon there is a post describes the quarter circle orbiting above and then runs vertically upwards over a short area. in the The upper end region is the conveyor belt 1 'via a deflection roller 2 redirected.
- a Pressure tape 3 is provided, which over two rollers 4, 4 ' circulates endlessly.
- the roller 4 of the pressure belt 3 rotates counter to that Clockwise.
- the grippers 9 move in the lower, U-shaped Section of the conveyor 7 on a Semicircular path counterclockwise.
- Each gripper 9 consists of a leading leg 10 and a trailing leg 11, both of which are independent pivoted from one another about a common axis of rotation 12 can be.
- the leading gripper legs 10 are each one first control roller 13 and the trailing gripper legs 11 each have a second control roller 14 assigned.
- a possible structure of the control mechanism for the gripper 9 the European patent application EP 0 600 183 A1 from the applicant.
- the first control rollers 13 run in a first control link 15 assigned to these control rollers 13, whereas the control rollers 14 run in a further second control link 16 assigned to these second control rollers 14.
- Each control link 15, 16 thus controls the movement of the leading and trailing legs 10, 11 of the grippers 9 individually and independently of one another.
- the leading gripper legs 10 of the grippers 9 are connected at their end facing away from the transport chain 8 to a guide surface 17 such that the leading legs 10 together with the guide surfaces 17 each have a V-shape open in the direction of the transport chain 8. Accordingly, the distance between the guide surface 17 and the leading leg 10 increases from the end of the leading leg 10 facing away from the transport chain 8 in the direction of the transport chain 8.
- V-shape described is chosen such that the Guide surface 17 in the closed state of the grippers 9 at least essentially parallel to the product contact surface of the trailing leg 11 is aligned.
- stationary part 18 of a positive stop In the lower end of the feed section facing the Conveyor 7 is in the product transfer area stationary part 18 of a positive stop arranged.
- This stationary part 18 extends above the Roll 4 essentially horizontal, then about to run obliquely upwards above the conveyor gap 5.
- the inclined surface 19 thus formed cuts out in it 1 visible projection the guide surface 17th of a gripper 9 receiving a product 6, so that the called inclined surface 19 of the stationary part 18th together with the respective guide surface 17 of the gripper 9 a substantially V-shaped, open at the bottom Stop for the leading edges of the products 6 form.
- the leading edge 20 reaches one Product 6 through the conveyor gap 5 in the direction of the arrow in the opening area of a gripper 9, specifically between the with the leading leg 10 coupled guide surface 17 and the trailing leg 11 of the gripper 9.
- the Conveying gap 5 abuts the leading edge 20 of the product 6 ultimately on the stationary part 18, in particular on the inclined surface 19, the exact position of the leading edge 20 by the interaction of the stationary part 18 with the moving guide surface 17th is defined.
- the leading edge 20 of the product 6 is therefore always in the range of the one shown in FIG. 2 Intersection / cutting line between the guide surface 17 and inclined surface 19.
- Fig. 4 can be seen that in the closed state of the Gripper 9, the guide surface 17 and the product contact surface of the trailing leg 11 in parallel are aligned with each other, so that there is a full-surface Attach these elements to both sides of the Product 6 results.
- Fig. 6 shows a gripper, as in a device 1 to 5 can be used.
- a product 6 is gripped by a gripper 9 held, of which in FIG. 6 the leading leg 10, which has a flat V-shape in its lower end area has shown.
- the leg 10 is with a Control roller 13 connected, which in a control link 15th running.
- the two-part is also in Fig. 6 trained inclined surface 19 of the stationary part of the positive stop 17, 19 shown.
- This two-part inclined surface 19 extends in each case below the control link 15, 16, and opposite slightly shifted to the outside.
- the distance of this stationary, backdrop-like parts 18 with the Sloping surfaces 19 ensures that the products 6 are not only the same depth inside but also in a precisely defined one Rotational position - i.e. preferably at right angles to Conveying direction of leading edge - from the grippers 9 are detected.
- Fig. 7 shows a representation corresponding to FIG. 1 with the Difference that the extension of the products 6 in Delivery direction compared to Fig. 1 is reduced. simultaneously is also the degree of overlap in the area of Feed section of products 6 conveyed in the form of scales in accordance with 7 less than in FIG. 1.
- Fig. 7 accordingly illustrates that the inventive Device, its dimensions and settings are not changed compared to FIG. 1, regardless of the length of the products and also regardless of the degree of overlap of the scale formation works perfectly because of the inventive Arrangement of conveyor gap 5 and conveyor 7 it can be ensured that the products 6 are independent of the sizes mentioned reliably against the Forced stop 17, 19 are promoted. It just has to be sure that the products 6 in the conveying direction have certain minimum dimensions that ensure that the product is still kept in the conveyor gap 5 while it is already at the forced stop 17, 19 strikes.
- Fig. 7 the transfer of CD's is shown, which with the same device can be done as that in Fig. 1 to 6 shown handover of larger-format printing products like commercials, newspapers, magazines or Parts of it.
- the device can be arranged in practically all positions and operated. This is especially because of the products to be promoted and the distance between Conveying gap 5 and conveyor 7 are kept to a minimum can be.
