Abstract

The invention relates to an article (1) for masking areas of a vehicle during a painting process. The invention also relates to a method for producing and recycling articles (1) of this type and to a method for masking areas of a vehicle during the painting process while using said article (1). The aim of the invention is to provide recyclable articles (1) of the aforementioned type that, under painting process conditions, have a type of shape, stability and rigidity that render the use of these articles advantageous with regard to economic, qualitative and ecological aspects. Erst danach gelangt die grundierte Karosserie in den eigentlichen Lackprozeß, bei dem zunächst ein Füller zum Ausgleich des Untergrundes und als Steinschlagschutz aufgebracht wird. Danach erfolgt eine Basis- lackierung zur Färb- und Effektgebung, schließlich eine Klar- lackierung zum Schutz vor äußeren Einflüssen. Der nach der KTL- Beschichtung durchgeführte eigentlichen Lackierprozeß wird bei Temperaturen von bis zu ca. 170 Grad Celsius durchgeführt. Erst nach dem Durchlaufen der Lackierstraße wurden bislang Einbauten an der Karosserie eines Fahrzeuges vorgenommen. Insbesondere die Fensterscheiben (Windschutzscheibe, Heckscheibe, feststehende Seitenscheiben) werden in der Großserienproduktion üblicherweise robortergesteuert am Verbauort eingesetzt und verklebt (Direktverglasung) . Nach dem Entfernen des Betriebsmittel 1 wird der darunterliegende Klebebereich freigelegt, auf den die Fensterscheibe 3 aufgedrückt wird. Eine strukturelle Schwachstelle in Form z. B. einer Füller- und Decklackschicht zwischen dem Klebstoff 4 und dem KTL beschichteten Karosserieflansch 2 wird dadurch um- gangen. Dadurch entsteht eine torsionssteife Gesamtstruktur im Sinne einer Leichtbaukonstruktion mit guten Crasheigenschaften.
