- Mould for producing a lost foam casting model for a light metal cylinder sleeve of internal-combustion engines, characterised in that the mould has a structured surface with height differences of 0.8 to 5 mm, at least on partial faces.
- Mould for producing a foam casting model according to claim 1, characterised in that the structured surface is formed by grooves (1) in the surface of the mould.
- Mould for producing a foam casting model according to claim 1, characterised in that the structured surface is formed by elevations in the surface of the mould.
- Mould for producing a foam casting model according to claim 1, characterised in that the grooves (1) or the elevations extend in the axial direction, in the peripheral direction, in the diagonal direction or in an undulating manner.
- Method for producing a foam casting model for a light metal cylinder sleeve of internal-combustion engines, characterised in that a surface structure with height differences of 0.8 to 5 mm, consisting of grooves (1) or of elevations, is formed on the surface of the mould for producing the foam casting model, the grooves being milled into the surface or the elevations being produced by build-up welding.
- Method according to claim 5, characterised in that the surface is structured by grooves (1) or elevations extending in the axial direction, in the peripheral direction, in the diagonal direction or in an undulating manner.
