- the DE-A-41 39 067 describes a spinning machine with a Doppelriemchenstrecktechnik and a fiber bundling zone, in which the fiber structure is compacted by means of a suction opening in a top roller in the drafting system.
- the negative pressure at the suction opening is controllable to set a desired fiber compaction and thus the yarn quality.
- the EP-A-0 635 590 describes a method for bundling a finished in a double apron drafting sliver, which is summarized following the delay in a fiber bundling zone.
- the compaction takes place by means of suction air flow through a perforated surface in the fiber bundling zone.
- the compression and thus the yarn properties eg. As the hairiness can be influenced.
- the invention has for its object to operate a ring spinning machine so that the potential performance can be optimally used.
- This object is achieved in that a limit value for the hairiness of each yarn to be spun is specified and that the ring spinning machine is operated at this yarn-dependent limit of hairiness.
- the limit value suitable for a particular fiber material can be empirically determined in particular by the manufacturer of the ring spinning machine and then given to the users of the ring spinning machine.
- the hairiness of the yarn to be spun is adjusted to the limit. By means of a regulation, it is ensured that there are uniform conditions over the whole cop trip.
- the object is achieved in that means are provided for maintaining a given hairiness of the yarn to be spun.
- These means can be realized with a controller or with a control. They also include means for varying the compaction effect of the pneumatic compactor set by the controller or controller to achieve or maintain the limit of hairiness of the yarn to be spun.

- the drawing 3 shows a module of a suction insert.
- a modern ring spinning machine has a plurality of spinning positions on both sides of the machine, for example on each machine side 500, of which one is shown in the drawings.
- Each of these spinning positions includes a drafting system 13 with a compression device, which is followed by a ring spinning device 14 with a ring 26 on which a rotor 27 is guided.
- the fiber material 11 to be spun is drawn off from a roving bobbin 10 and passes over a deflection bar or deflection roller 12 into the drafting system 13.
- the drafting system 13 has an input roller pair of a running in the machine longitudinal direction, driven lower cylinder 15 and a pressure roller 16. Further, it has a middle roller pair of a continuous machine longitudinal direction, driven lower cylinder 17 and a pressure roller 18. These form a Doppelriemchenaggregat with a Unterriemchen and Oberriemchen. This is followed by an output roller pair of a driven perforated roller 19 and a pressure roller 20.
- the perforated roller 19 is associated with a further pressure roller 24.
- the fiber structure which has been stretched when the pressure roller pair 19, 20 has been reached passes through a yarn guide 28 to the rotor 27, at which the fiber structure is deflected and guided to cop 30, which is not shown Spindle is arranged, which is driven in the circumferential direction.
- a suction insert 21 is arranged, which is connected to a vacuum source, such as a fan 22, connected.
- the suction insert 21 has a directed to the area between the two pressure rollers 20, 24 of the perforated roller 19 suction slot which extends straight in the transport direction of the fiber material 11 or obliquely thereto.
- Suction insert and suction slot each have a special effect on the compaction and thus on the hairiness.
- the edge region of the suction slot has shown, but also just those of the support webs (34, drawing 3), which determine the distance of the suction slit from the sliver.
- the height of these webs greatly affects the hairiness of the yarn, so will be considered in any advantageous embodiment of the machine described. So it is conceivable that the spinner for each yarn count own, particularly suitable suction inserts can be given to the hand, with which he can adjust the hairiness as needed, which can be considered a rule of thumb: the finer the yarn, the smaller the distance of the insert from Sliver, the lower the web height.
- the dimension will move from about 0 mm at Ne 100 to about 1 mm at Ne 10.
- suction inserts with webs of different heights are used on the same machine, the described effect can prevent the problem of the negative pressure dropping from the fan to the last spinning station occurring in today's large ring spinning machines with many spinning stations.
- the suction inserts are preferably, as before, made of a suitable plastic and can be replaced quickly in a yarn change.
- the perforated roller 19 is on the outside a cover 25, by which the pneumatic compression effect in the compression zone can be influenced.
- the yarn spun in this way has a hairiness that is significantly lower than the hairiness of a conventionally spun yarn.
- the invention therefore provides that the hairiness of the yarn to be spun is not reduced to the maximum possible lowest hairiness, but to a limit of the hairiness, which can be found by means of a compromise between different parameters. These parameters are the performance of the ring spinning machine (spindle speed), the improved substance utilization and the wear of ring 26 and / or rotor 27.
- a control 30 is provided, by means of which the cover 25 is adjusted so that the compression effect is varied so that the hairiness of the yarn to be spun is kept constant at the predetermined limit.
- drives 31 and 32 are provided, by means of which the cover 25 in the radial direction and in the circumferential direction relative to the perforated roller 19 is adjustable.
- a control 30 is provided, but with the here via a frequency converter 35, the fan 22 is controlled to vary in this way the negative pressure.
- the controller 30 obtains information about the hairiness by indirectly detecting the hairiness of the spun yarn. This indirect detection takes place in that the temperature of the ring 26 and / or the rotor 27 is detected.
- the temperature of the ring 26 and the rotor 27 is representative of the friction between the rotor 27 and ring 26 and thus indirectly also representative of the hairiness of the spun yarn, because the hairiness of the spun yarn is decisive for the friction.
- the temperature is detected by means of a temperature sensor 33, in particular an infrared sensor.
- means may be provided by means of which directly the hairiness of the spun yarn is detected. These means are then conveniently placed between the pressure roller 24 and the yarn guide 28.
- the actuators 31 and 32 which are adjusted by the controller 30, are then designed so that a group or possibly all covers the drafting of a machine side are adjusted simultaneously.
- the setting of the compression effect is not limited to the adjustment of a cover 25 here. At least the options described above are also suitable.
- German patent application 10145671.9 discloses further possibilities for adjusting the compaction effect and thus setting a value of hairiness. Of course, these possibilities may be used individually or in combination with one another in connection with the present invention.
- the illustrated compression device with the perforated roller 19 is to be understood only as an example of a pneumatic compression device. Of course, all other known pneumatic compression devices can also be used.

Description
The invention relates to a method for operating a ring spinning machine and a ring spinning machine whose drafting systems are equipped with pneumatic compression devices.

The invention has for its object to operate a ring spinning machine so that the potential performance can be optimally used.
This object is achieved in that a limit value for the hairiness of each yarn to be spun is specified and that the ring spinning machine is operated at this yarn-dependent limit of hairiness.
By specifying a limit value for the hairiness of the spun yarn, it is possible to reach a compromise between the substance utilization of the fiber material on the one hand and the wear on runners and / or ring on the other hand to find that the ring spinning machine can be operated with the highest possible performance. Taking into account the mentioned parameters, the limit value suitable for a particular fiber material can be empirically determined in particular by the manufacturer of the ring spinning machine and then given to the users of the ring spinning machine.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the hairiness of the yarn to be spun is adjusted to the limit. By means of a regulation, it is ensured that there are uniform conditions over the whole cop trip.
In a ring spinning machine, the object is achieved in that means are provided for maintaining a given hairiness of the yarn to be spun. These means can be realized with a controller or with a control. They also include means for varying the compaction effect of the pneumatic compactor set by the controller or controller to achieve or maintain the limit of hairiness of the yarn to be spun.
Further features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description of the embodiments illustrated in the drawings, wherein the drawings, of course, represent only embodiments that can be understood in any way limiting.
The drawings 1 and 2 show in schematic representation in each case a spinning station of a ring spinning machine, the drafting system is equipped with a pneumatic compression device whose compression effect is adjustable. The drawing 3 shows a module of a suction insert.
A modern ring spinning machine has a plurality of spinning positions on both sides of the machine, for example on each machine side 500, of which one is shown in the drawings. Each of these spinning positions includes a
The
Within the
Be particularly advantageous in this context, not only a design of the edge region of the suction slot has shown, but also just those of the support webs (34, drawing 3), which determine the distance of the suction slit from the sliver. The height of these webs greatly affects the hairiness of the yarn, so will be considered in any advantageous embodiment of the machine described. Preferably, the dimension will move from about 0 mm at Ne 100 to about 1 mm at Ne 10. If suction inserts with webs of different heights are used on the same machine, the described effect can prevent the problem of the negative pressure dropping from the fan to the last spinning station occurring in today's large ring spinning machines with many spinning stations. The suction inserts are preferably, as before, made of a suitable plastic and can be replaced quickly in a yarn change.
In the area between the two
By means of the pneumatic compacting a better substance utilization of the processed fiber material is obtained, since more fibers are incorporated into the yarn due to spin rotation. The yarn spun in this way has a hairiness that is significantly lower than the hairiness of a conventionally spun yarn. Practice has shown that the reduced hairiness leads to increased wear of
Also in the example of the drawing 2 a
It is also possible to influence the hairiness over variations of the absorbent insert, whether by the known modifications of the shape of the suction slot, or by the distance of the insert from the sliver.
The
Of course, means may be provided by means of which directly the hairiness of the spun yarn is detected. These means are then conveniently placed between the
In general, it will not be necessary to detect the hairiness of the yarn at all spinning positions. This can be done at selected spinning positions, even at a single position. The
In a simple solution is provided that an operator checks the hairiness of the spun yarn at one or more spinning stations by means of a meter and even compares whether the existing settings still give the required hairiness and this, if deviations from the limit of hairiness occur manually changed.
The illustrated compression device with the
