Abstract

A self-propelled fork-lift truck (10), particularly for handling palletized loads (C). The fork-lift truck (10) has a substantially vertical gantry (22) fixed to a frame (16) and having a hydraulic actuator (32) controlling the vertical movement of a loading fork (13) ; and a device (33, 35, 48, 50) for moving the gantry (22) in a substantially horizontal direction (Y) to and from the front edge (E) of the frame (16).
