In der Zeichnung ist das erfindungsgemäße Werkzeug mit Werkzeughaltern in Explosionsdarstellung, aber ohne die Aufnahme derselben in der Werkzeugmaschine selbst, gezeigt, wobei zwischen einem Stempel 1 und einer Matrize 2 zwei miteinander zu verbindende Bleche 3 angeordnet sind. Claims (6)
- A tool for the mechanical connection of plates (3) or the like, for their interconnection or for the connection of components to plates by rivets, by continuous joining or the like, with a stamp (1) and a die (2), each of which are supported at their ends facing away from the plates (3) in a tool holder of a machine tool, wherein a pin (4) is provided for each stamp (1) facing the plates (3), and a recess (5) is arranged in the die (2) formed of several parts, characterised in that- the recess in the die (2) is designed as a bag opening with inflexible lateral walls;- the die (2) is designed in two parts, in which an insert part (13) is arranged in a receiving part (12) as the bottom of the bag opening, which part consists of harder material than the receiving part (12), and- this insert part (13) is clamped in the bag opening (5) on the side facing away from the plates.
- The tool according to Claim 1 in particular, for the mechanical connection of plates (3) or the like, for their interconnection or for the connection of components to plates by rivets, by continuous joining or the like, with a stamp () and a die (2), each of which are supported at their ends facing away from the plates (3) in a tool holder of a machine tool, wherein a pin (4) is provided for each stamp (1) facing the plates (3), and a recess (5) is arranged in the die (2) formed of several parts, characterised by the following features:- the die (1) is designed in two parts, with an insert part (8) used for direct connection of the plates and having the pin (4), and- the insert part (8) consists of harder material than the holder (7).
- The tool according to Claim 1 or 3, characterised in that the lateral walls of the recess (5) of the die (2), designed as a bag opening, have a radial distance from the surface areas of the pin (4) of the stamp (1), and run in the direction of movement of the stamp (1).
- The tool according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the positive connection between the insert part (8, 13) and the holder (7, 12) is designed as a press connection.
- The tool according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the connection between the holder (7, 12) and the insert part (8, 13) is torsion resistant.
- The tool according to any one of the preceding claims for connecting components such a plates, bolts, nuts or the like, by rivets, to a plate, characterised by the use of a lost stamp that can be pressed into the plate and connected in series to the tool stamp, which lost stamp is driven in by the insert part serving as the tool stamp.
